Oil changes neglect caused this.. horrible looking oil in it

Thanks a bunch for this video, man! Last summer, I had a huge problem with my Trafic. A mechanic saved my engine with three seized injectors. But after that, two injectors burned out, and my mechanic told me I had to change the ECU, which I did. Same issue. Today I watched your video about a bad seal, and I went, lifted the hood, removed the plastic, and saw that my middle bolt below the windscreen was missing. The gasket was burnt from age, and by the dust, it was clear where water was flowing. And that was a eureka moment. My injector connections were swimming in water all the time. Thanks for sharing your work, man. You saved my van! It has been in my family for 17 years, 88,000 km... like new.

Between 17/18 reg the belts was delaminating it happened to my 17reg and i got for to pay👍

When you drilled out the broken injector.It looked like part of the injector nozzle was left behind....when you compared it to the other injector it was a lot shorter where the spray nozzle was..how did you retrieve the rest of the nozzle?.

Not much use to how to remove the head ??

that is the Nissan engine. I have the Renault engine F9Q in my Vivaro. such a better engine to work on. i`ll never sell my 2005.

How did you extract the remaining portion of the injector nozzle? Clearly a portion of the nozzle was not extracted. How was it facilitated?

i found an Discovery 2.0 2018 they said the engine has a little rattle does it worth it for 17 k €

Unreal how even high end Mercedes cars have such insane problems right out of the factory. My almost 20 Year old Diesel Volvo with 250.000 Kilometers ran most of its life on 0w30 changed every 25.000-30.000km because thats the factory service interval. And the engine is in perfect shape even when it was abused all of its life with horrible oil change intervals and oil that was too thin for the engine. I run it on the proper oil a diesel of this era needs which is 5w40 and I stick to ~10.000km intervals. The engine is now smoother and quieter than most new diesels. 5w40 massively improved vibration, valvetrain noise. HOW come they cant make a brand new engine not last a few years without major problems these days. Even more cringe is the fact that they design these engines for super thin 0w30 and 0w20 oils. These engines most likely have a valvetrain lubrication issue by design. No engine should wipe out a camshaft so early even on 0w30 and long oil change intervals.

Had my vivaro injectors and glow plugs done by this company a few years ago , not cheap but they did a great job , it’s a really badly designed engine and scuttle to allow this to happen.... 👍

I have an XE with the 2.0D ingenium engine, I found out before buying this car new that this was going on…. They said this happens to owners that don’t change the oil often, like only the recommended every21K / 2years…. I hope that by changing the oil every 3000 miles I can avoid this happening in the long run?!? I also put ceratec with every oil change, and drive the car very VERY gentle!

I just had the same issue with my mercedes e class W213. Light unit stopped working completely.... However I decided to drill two holes in the top of the light to clear the condensation and dry out the headlight/control unit... Worth a shot.. And two weeks later my headlight is now working perfectly... Just need to figure out where moisture getting in and plug the two holes I drilled.

Is V6 harder to change seals than 4 cylinder?

Did you put the ghost by both headlights? Because once thieves know ppl have a ghost system they just try the other headlight another week
