Hi, I am new to this game. I bought the Ragnaloard starter deck ST somethingus, and read the rule cards in that one but it seems like those are a bit outdated. I am seeing the players move their digimons from the breedingpool into play and then immediately flipping another eggy. From my understanding it was either move into play or breed an egg. Is that wrong? Has it always been like this? Oh and another question I have had for a while with the double coloured option card in that starter deck: Can you play it while you only have red or black, since it is a duo colour card? Thanks in advance, and fun to see the full game being played!

Nah, just Belphemon Sleep mode to end the attack or Pause Plug In P. It negs 6k and then the stack can’t activate when digivolving effects. Shuts magna down hard.

sleep mode helps, but if they have blinding ray or are able to go into another magna its super tough! I love pause plug in P though for sure!

the only problem part of Magna is it being a Vaccine. If it was Free only and limited to Vee Armors, no one would have a problem with it because it would just be a limited buff to one deck.

I see he is running blast mode beelze and i just want to make sure he knows you cant play out Beelze, swing, Blast Mode, and swing again. Rush is printed on Beelze's card so it doesnt transfer to Beelze Blast Mode. He also isnt a 7gdl so doesnt count as a name. He essentially ends up as only a mill target.

10:50 this isnt a question you need to answer as a player. You can ask what are X's effects or ask about specific effects. You cannot ask your opponent to essentially play for you by notifying you of all effects you personally think are important.

I mean asking your opponent if there are any active effects from their cards is a fine thing to do imo. Since it's on both players to maintain game state and it's easy to forget things like an Ice Wall etc.

@@JohnRoseTCG maintaining gamestate doesn't mean they have to remind you of anything. "Information printed on a specific card mentioned by name or otherwise clearly described". This is the only information pertaining to card effects a opponent is required to tell you per Bandai rules. If a Ice Wall is in effect it's on you to remember Ice Wall was played last turn and it's only on the opponent player to make sure you don't miss losing the 2 memory during your [When Attacking] step. Some things are done and soft expected in locals like "Do you have any blockers"(though asking if a specific unit has blocker must be answered truthfully) or things like that but it's not a **rule** that players have to answer questions like the one you're describing and no punishment would be handed out unless you asked the question and your opponent lied about one of the effects they decided to describe.

In my opinion a great meta would be similar to bt15 where you could choose between lots of different decks and have an actual chance of winning. Now for like 80% of the decks you see magna x on the opponents side and the game is basically over

Awakening at 0 just replaces awakening with training since they do the same thing. I'm gonna keep playing the deck, well into them power creeping this into the ground.

@@JohnRoseTCG if you need it ASAP it's a turn slower, yeah, but you have the option to use it turn 1 and keep it until you need it. THANKFULLY there's no interaction with delay cards your opponent is able to do at this time.

So in game 1, I kept the ouryumon to go into ouryuken if I needed to. with ouryuken, I can extend plays as long as he doesnt do a second sour. My hand was trash after I lost the first stack though lol. seiken meppa is the spicy tech to unsuspend. I tried yuji, didn't like it YOU'RE RIGHT! I could've zubagoned alpha, swing unsuspend, go BIG BOY, tuck a new ouryumon, then played a 2nd zubagon, swing for the rest, unsuspend from the new ouryu and then swing for game. BUT security bombs are a thing. Like I said in the last video, If it aint safe, I aint swinging lol BRO I FOLDED. IM SO BAD AT THIS GAME LOL. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I DIDNT CLEAR GAME WITH DOUBLE ZUBA. LORD HELP ME XD. 3rd game hella bricked. Wasn't even a game. no rookies :( NEED NEW ALPHA SUPPORT!

@@anthonywhylly1604 110% dude, I think experimenting with an aggressive build could be super interesting. This meta is fast af and maybe something like 1 cost ukko could help increase consistency while also applying damage! (death to ukko tho)

@@JohnRoseTCG think about it, it can be searched by many cards, can do two attacks, has armor purge so hard to get rid of the stack, has 3 colors so can use a lot of options that can boost/support the card and since it has royal knight in trait can digivolve into jesmon gx. vs apocalymon which barely has searchers so having to mill to try and get the card and is very slow and can be affected by option cards if they stashed a cranimaon underneath. That is why they need to bring back apoc maybe not at 4 but at least 2-3

@@joshuabonorino9561 I see where you're coming from but I don't think apocaly can come back friend. That card with Belphemon immunity can be incredibly toxic and not interactive which I don't believe is good for the game. Magna is similar, but it also falls off a cliff starting next set. Maybe hitting something like "Awakening" to 1 could also help slow the deck down.

Misplay from the 7GDL player: EX05 Leviamon couldn't activate his effect to pop the lopmon @ 9:23 His opponent needs to have MORE digimon and tamers than he does. 7GDL player had 3 tamers and a creepymon to his opponent's Mimi and lopmon. The EX06 Leviamon would work there tho.

leviamon always kills at least 1 body. He had 1 body on field The effect that you refer is the one that kills the highest lvl digimon, that one only triggers like you said when the opponent has more digimon/ tamers. However the second effect is a then, which means it is no longer conditional.

@6:00 Blue flare should still keep turn. He starts turn at 1, pushes the ukko, gets memory for ukko, lui, and dual tamer so it puts then to 4 then lose the 4 from emperor but maintains turn at 0. Not sure it changes the outcome though

So I'm fairly certain that the way emperor works is that it actually steals turn as you raise out of breeding so you actually never get your "start of main" effects. Learned that afterward

at the end he didn't pass turn for lucemon to do lucemon stuff. Other than that I think he played 7GDL pretty well and rapid was just playing waaaay too cautious for what the deck really does. That or digimon emperor really stuns that deck from it's shenanigans and 7GDL just has a HARD time against blue and yellow based decks this format from what I experienced

tbf like 90% of the time you are going to get 3 D-brigades of the top from tankdramon (even without counting all of the deck stacking effects) since basically all of the deck is just d-brigade or d-police. Dropping tank from brigadramon is just wild.

Magna needs an Errata. His protection should only last for the turn the security was removed. That would give the opponet at least a small chance to remove it on their turn.
