big sadie Hello! Well, the majority of fish in the Tully are average size but some of the bigger ones are always possible especially if you’re targeting them with bigger streamers, but that’s also a tough day trying to find and trigger those fish into hitting. This year was particularly tough on the Tully with overcrowding because of people being off from work with the Covid lockdown. I’m really not sure what condition the Tully is in compared to other years. There’s definitely still plenty of fish to have fun with, but as far as the big boy numbers, I don’t think anyone knows that. If you decide to try, please let me know how you make out. Thanks!

@@MLTackle PPTU handles stocking the Patuxent above and below Triadelphia and the Middle Patuxent. If you'd like to join a crew then join PPTU (pptu.org)! Currently I'm advocating that we cease stocking over the wild browns and divert the stockers to below Brighton Dam. The river doesn't have the holding capacity required for those fish, and having rainbows in there during the Fall spawn means reduced spawning success. I would then extend that to modify the regulations below Brighton to be flies and artificials only rather than fly only.
