You knew when Champa showed up on the opponents bar, you were in some trouble! My baby bro (RIP) got this as a birthday gift from my folks on his 8th year of living. Love the Green Jelly soundtrack (an underrated band, even after they had change their name), and the visuals. Supreme successor to Revenge of the Sinister Six on NES. (Bro and I played that one when he was 5. He couldn't get enough...)

This has to be in the top-10 best soundtracks of all the SNES games. The intro gets me pumped every single time. Every single level has a seriously badass song. The gameplay wasn't as good as it could've been, but a soundtrack as badass as this one has makes up for some of its shortcomings. 10/10 would play again.

I really do wish that there was an officially released Woody Woodpecker game for the NES and the SNES. But sadly they didn't do it. Universal at the time could have opted to license the franchise to a third-party game developer (like Konami, Sunsoft and Kemco) and have the developer's game licensed by Nintendo. so this and the GBC Woody Woodpecker games and Crazy Castle 5 are the closest to Woody Woodpecker games on the NES and the SNES.

OMG I was today years old when I realized this is basically A SEQUEL, not merely a re-issue with extra content. I saw this at the store and thought it was the same game as the original!!! I passed over it!!!

As a kid I never figured out you had to claw the rocks to "defeat grant". I would play all the way through and just attack grant forever trying to figure it out. Finally I can have closure on this game mode!!

The instruction booklet had a real password in the password screenshot to warp straight to that last room as the raptor. And even then as a kid I couldn't figure out how to beat it, lol.
