Never swing into a slam with venom. And melee while attacking on close enemies. Everyone is always wasting his potential. There's so many things ppl don't do with venom that make him great Edit: try using his ult on other tanks (mainly when they are full hp, as his ult always halves the hp of whoever was hit). Especially when they stack. Gives u incredible HP and u can easily push them both back by yourself. I've ranked up so fast using venom it's insane and no one seems to use him effectively

It would've been just as successful, as Marvel, if it was created by the same developer with the same amount of love. The game could work with any huge IP. Star Wars, Dragonballz, etc. Marvel Rivals is a great game, because it's not woke, and extremely well-polished. These eastern developers have exposed western fascism & corruption in embarrassing fashion! The west has willfully created garbage.

clones seem less fun than having the individual characters available and knowing that there are several version of THAT character despite being similar to another. theres a lot of skins and comic book characters they can grab but i feel like skin clones would just make it more annoying to play the characters you actually want individually rather than not being able to be iron man cuz your team mate is war machine or you dont have enough units to purchase war machine alt skin for iron man

The main problem with a skin for a character to impose as a different hero would mean that hero could never he added as an individual character

Agent Venom, War Machine, and Miles Morales can totally be different characters (especially Carnage). I would picture clone/reskinned characters as Lady Thor, She-Hulk, Red Hulk, Kate Bishop, Ironheart, and Beta Ray Bill.

They have so many characters to pick from I don't think they worried about making "clones" at the moment. If they give us some new voice lines with a skin that makes that character someone different but still the "same", I'm sure the fans will be happy.

The problem is that there are so many characters that it feels unfair if we get clones as a hero before someone unique and different, so I feel skins is a better way to keep adding fresh new heroes

Id rather see more classic characters before seeing multiverse variants, another spider or venom? Nah id rather see some one like Green Goblin or Doc Ock first, what about Whiplash or Mandarin before another Iron Man? Or Abomination before another Hulk?

Miles could definitely be his own distinct character, and should. His invisibility, his venom strike, he can be a great assassin duelist. If they make Ghost Spider/Gwen she could be a support, making web barriers and traps to slow enemies or nerf their damage, as well as some way to heal

I mean we’ve already had skins of completely different characters. The Scarlet Spider skin for spiderman is actually Kaine Parker, and while yeah hes a clone of peter he is a VERY different character and personality from him, so it would’ve made sense for him to have different voice lines from him but he doesnt. Same thing with the mayker and malice skins

OFc they will be skins with different voicelines , there are SO many different marvel characters , they dont need to make miles morales a different character than peter parker is .. both are spiderman just look different ( the skillset difference is not that big that it needs to be a seperate new character ... )

agent venom and space knight venom were both flash thompson in the comics, not eddie brock. but the venom IN marvel rivals is eddie brock. so its likely someone like war machine could be just a skin.

This is something I thought of as well. In the future they will want to add more characters for sure.

Maybe they'll integrate the Anti-Venom symbiote into Agent Venom which would make him a Strategist instead of a Duelist since he was Agent Anti-Venom and could heal people in the comics; as for the other symbiotes: Knull could be a Vanguard, Dylan Brock's a Strategist and Carnage & Scream (current alias is "Silence") would be good Duelist.

Flash Thompson Agent Venom can actually still be added to the game as Anti Agent Venom Flash is MUCH different than Eddie as a host Toxin will most likely be a host The life foundation symbiotes could be made into Hybrid since he's basically all them them besides Scream. And they can just give him a skin for each one😂 Carnage can be his own thing and so can the new one Sleeper who can make gasses and be classes as a Strategist

I could see lots of ways to make miles and Spider-Man different. You could have miles shoot a web ball that knocks people back if they collide with terrain they are stuck/stunned with a web. Also miles has the whole bio electric thing. Where Spider-Man is a swinging dps miles could be a trap support/dos hybrid. Not trying to get picks but stunning and laying web patches that slow people.

Easy decision, skins.

You can easily change the roles and abilities. If Sue in this universe can heal with her force fields. Who’s to say Miles Morales can’t heal with his bio-electricity. At least then a spider character will be on each role. Give him two swings or even 3 for more escape potential as a support. Less damage on his punch and webs. Then Miles’ ultimate can be his big electric discharge from the game healing allies and/or giving over health, and damaging/slowing enemies. Also he can have an invisibility skill on cooldown like Psylocke which makes sense since he’s a support and needs abilities for escape. His power set is far too different to be a Peter clone. You could even give him a pull like Spiderman but his can be used on allies (works somewhat with lifeweaver on OW)

The symbiote conversation is a bit wild bro, they all have different abilities. Fair enough with certain strains of venom, like anti venom, anti carnage, superior venom ect ect all can be skins because his abilities for each version don't really change he just gets stronger. But for screech, toxin, carnage, cant remember the rest off the top of my head, have their own distinct powers edit: obviously hulk versions would just be reskins, same with venom his abilities dont really change he just gains power level. Gwen stacy is an anomaly, she has to show up at somepoint, she has her own version of every character 😂 I believe you're thinking too narrowly, at the end of the day most of what they will add will be different to what we have currently. Its way too soon to be thinking about clones when we have practically unlimited roster of characters to pull from

I’ve been thinking war machine should be a vanguard iron man with more focus on sheer damage output and maybe spawn some team shields or bubble shield for defense whilst iron heart could be a strategist and do healing strafing runs if need be

I really wish they put miles as a suport but tbh i hope they put him latter in the games life cause if whe are just getting more of the same kind of character like venom and SM instead of a new guy like gambit or ultron id be pretty dissapointed

For me it's not a matter of how similar their powers are or not. Marvel has thousands of characters and hundreds of them are fan favourites. Miles Morales for example is an awesome character and yeah, his powers are different to Peter Parker's Spiderman. But In a way, they are similar in terms of how the character would look and play. It would take up a spot from a character who would have brought something unique to the game. Same goes for Carnage and Venom etc. Carnage has different powers to venom but, at the end of the day, they are both big symbiote dudes. Not to say it's impossible to make Miles or Carnage work. I'm just saying they should prioritize characters who bring new playstyles and ideas to the game. Down the line, as years go by, I wouldnt mind seeing similar characters or twists to pre-existing characters.

No I feel like they should keep them all as skins. If they can focus their attention on all the unique characters (especially ones we don’t see in game format often) I believe that would be the best option. As in, why focus on a punisher/ironman hybrid character when you can add some totally different (at least visually) and creative one like Baron Zemo or Mysterio, you know?

Can be very similar with animations but play under different roles so they can have variety and can still team up. Think smash bros echo characters with a twist.

I reckon they should introduce Legendary Skins, which has different voicelines, possibly different animations. This will serve as a way for them to introduce a bunch of fan favourites quicker. Some of my picks would be: • Thor - Beta Ray Bill • Hulk - Abomination or Red Hulk • Moon Knight - Hunter's Moon • Iron Fist - Danny Rand

Imo the only time it should be a different character if u can change the role of it. If one character is a dps, other similar character should be tank, or healer. The roles & characters should be fundamentally different enough to play differently.

Characters that are diverse enough in power set and importantly build such as War Machine compared to Iron Man should be diff characters, but for Miles Morales hes so similar in power set and build to Peter Parker that they should just have him be a unique skin with unique effects maybe (like if you finish an enemy with a punch, it’s an electric venom punch). I’m pretty sure The Maker (an Ultimate version of Reed Richards) is just a skin of Mr Fantastic too, despite being so different in character, but similar in build and power set.
