Interesting video Ben. I find it unusual that you could make a video comparing American and Japanese styles without once mentioning the difference between Skipping and Mizukiri. Which leads me to your question at the end of the video.. "Which technique is best?" I ask you, Ben, best for what?

Hello Alice, thank you for your message. I made this video quite a while ago now, so I'm not sure what my process was for this vid at the time. However, I've been meaning to find out more about the competitions in Japan for a while, because I don't yet know much about the Japanese competition structure. Hopefully when I know more I can make a new video on this very topic. Either way, the aim of this one was just to compare effectiveness for achieving the highest number of skips.
