Story about cars in America with European license plates???
@USAWheels-e5b11 күн бұрын
Cars with European license plates in America are often imported vehicles. Enthusiasts sometimes keep the original plates for authenticity or swap them on at car shows to stand out!

We are looking a Toyota cross Hybrid. It’s in a decent price range, Basic and it’s nice for a daily driver. I went crazy a few years ago with my Dodge Scat pack. But it’s still fun and worth it to me personally. I will be handing my nephew the keys to the Scat Pack in 2 years after he gets some time on the road with my old four runner.
@USAWheels-e5b12 күн бұрын
Sounds like a solid plan! The Cross Hybrid is great for daily drives, and the Scat Pack is definitely a dream car for your nephew. That’s one lucky kid to have an uncle like you!

I know a lot of farmers up in my area that doesn't like John Deere tractors, they say that the tractors they've been using 2 dig and plant their fields do a better job then John Deere
@raykillorn49502 ай бұрын
Alright, secondly on this presentation we hear about repair issues. I'm not finishing this video because the political issue of tariffs vastly less important to talk about than repair.
@raykillorn49502 ай бұрын
I'm at 8 minutes into this video and there has not been a peep about farmers who cannot fix their own machines. Cost competitive machines were not the issue with Deer's customers. They needed to prevent field breakdowns by being able to access disabling software lock outs. There is not a peep in their economic distress about tariffs. Go figure.

I say the same thing about all this bull crap they put on their car so we have to carry it to a service center instead of fixing it yourself what was wrong with the point system in the carburetors that's the average person could fix and keep their car tuned up now they can't have the money to fix their car and they're driving down the road with cars it's not running good and now getting terrible gas mileage because they're not able to go have it fixed America has done put the horse behind the cart instead of in front of it the presidency in the White House y'all did not think it through when you started buying these cars from different countries where it had to have all this computer junk on it it does not make it run no better or make it a form more better cuz I have took all that crap off of my vehicles Smart control PCM ECM took all that stuff off of my vehicle so I can tune it myself enron's a thousand times better than it does for that computer that was horseshit in the United States bought all the way into it now China one that wants to shut our vehicles in our company's down they can do it with computers how stupid has this country gotten on that and I really want a answer from anybody and wake up America

@@JodyHammett I agree, but I don't think it will get the computers out of our cars. Especially since MUSK is around, he will most certainly put more computers in our vehicles

Tariffs are typically applied to goods or imports, not individual companies, but they can affect companies depending on their reliance on international trade.
@USAWheels-e5b2 ай бұрын
You make a valid point. Encouraging local production and simplifying vehicle technology could address some of these concerns while supporting domestic industries.

This is FAKE NEWS. De stock up $16, to 462/share on 11-25-24. My 60 yr old tractor is running fine. My 10 yr old tractor does have a computer, but it is running fine too. Both are Deere's. 75 % of all Deere products are made in the USA.

Absolutely correct. Kubota is a Japanese company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, with a significant global presence.
@cpcattin2 ай бұрын
Both sides of the arguments are correct ! Trump wrote the book “The Art of the Deal”. His tariff threats are a much better negotiating tool than going to war or refusing imports. Imports hollow out our American manufacturing industry. This is obviously a direct consequence on American middle class workers. Compete with American manufacturers by building in America. Learn from Japan. China is in an altogether different situation. They cheat every time they can. They steal patented technology.
@USAWheels-e5b2 ай бұрын
Great points! Tariffs can indeed be a strategic tool to protect American industries and encourage domestic manufacturing. And yes, intellectual property theft is a major concern with China.

People can't afford farm equipment as it is due to the overpaid unions that make them. Putting tariffs on foreign imports is an awful idea. Imports keep domestic prices efficient.

It's definitely a complex issue with many factors at play. Balancing fair wages and affordable equipment is crucial for farmers to thrive.
