One of the great things about these parts with the Sheriff and Loomis picking up the girls is how careful Pleasance is to always place himself right where he would logically be in the scene. When they pick them up, he immediately moves to the outside, to funnel the girls between himself and the police car.... Or when they arrive at the Sheriff's house, Pleasance is first out of the car, despite his age and injuries....yet he's LAST to enter the house, since he lingers to make sure the girls are safely inside before entering, himself. Details that make sense, considering who the character is, but that would often wind up being overlooked...
