Thank you for making it possible to learn from you how we can empower communities, engage individuals to find the missing people living with TB who need to have anti-TB medication as well as making our households safe from TB disease.

Keep up the good work. We are going to start a workshop to break down the UNHLM deliberations and we invited refugees, asylum seekers and displaced persons to attend too. This is one of the activities we want to engage in before this year ends. We hope to empower participants with knowledge and skills to move the anti-TB advocacy forward.

I liked question three (3): . How can effective mental health support for persons with TB be provided by all providers, including private sector providers? It is a question that keeps asking and at the same a cue to practical solutions. Our work with refugees, asylum seekers and displaced persons in DRC, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania makes this question more relevant in that displaced persons have unaddressed mental trauma and stress to deal with as well as progressive traumas following loss of homes, familiar communities and relatives. TB Prevention work must factor in such social determinants in order to be effective. Thanks.

It is important to engage what we call the private sector. We work with rural African communities and have come to utilize the households as private spaces owned by the "private" sector that if tapped into contributes to the critical mass of TB Prevention champions in the communities.

important videos that question people's motives don't get so many comments, sadly. Maybe people felt too rebuked they have nothing to say in their defence.

It should be done positively and not just be done formally. There must be some financial benefit to persuade increase in sputum positive cases voluntarily. There should be newer methods to find sputum positive cases at their door step.

Am sure we are aware of the saying “ no point preaching to the choir “ . They have already understood and will be of the same mindset . The challenge is in going out there

I really feel there would be more momentum if players in the private sector which admittedly handle 70% of the healthcare in our country. The risk of involving only those who think like us , of activists who think alike , only reinforces the “Us versus them”, which sounds great but rarely leads to collaboration . I don’t mean big owners of private hospitals but daily worker healthcare workers who work in the private sector but still serve .
