A great demonstration of why small sensor interchangeable lens cameras are so useful. Incredibly stable and usable footage for such long reach. For not a lot of money relatively speaking. And this was a while ago. Imagine if they had kept developing it with image stabilisation and better video capability. It’s really sad to see the full frame supremacists ruining the camera world now with nonsense.

I grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida and had several boats both small and large and the one thing they all had in common was they were money pits. No regrets. Loved them all but a friend of mine gave me a piece of advice that has stuck with me all these years later. "A boat is a hole in the water surrounded by wood into which one pours money." Best of luck to you and yours!!

Classic Graham. Dramatic scenery and wild life accompanied by dramatic music. I have thought about a drone but the restrictions are far reaching. Interesting to know how you managed the shots of a favourite train! I make travelogues of my travels and can appreciate the effort and time put in to create a movie of this length. Congratulations on a well presented journey.

Well this was a wonderful watch Graham. You were heading North as we were heading South. Scotland has such a huge variety of species. We were on Mull and Ardnamurchan - loved every second and i filmed a few lifers. Pine Martens - love them., absolutely beautiful. And the Chanonry Point section is wonderful. I honestly believe the Dolphins (once finished feeding), play up to the crowd. And they get so close!! How cool to film a Crested Tit!! And a Golden Eagle pair. Wonderful footage. We managed to see a Goldie and White Tailed Eagles but only managed footage of the WTE. . That was just a beautiful watch mate. We can’t wait to get back to Scotland next year.

I was very sorry when Helen passed away at the time and now through my months of bereavement can understand more what you were going through at the time. So nice you have the beautiful garden to remember her by too. Gary is in Heaven as we are Christians and I’ll be with him again one day.
