We were visiting Jamaica 🇯🇲- We grew up only hearing about hurricanes 🌀 and longing to see one! Little or no preparation was done let alone warning ⛔️ so we left Jamaica 🇯🇲 and on the way to Belize 🇧🇿, it was during the layover in Miami that we heard that Gilbert was heading to Jamaica 🇯🇲 My parents were alive then and we were so concerned for them but they were fine. Thank God BUT what a storm! What damage! My Jamaican people are resilient and who can forget Lovindeer’s ‘Wild Gilbert’! A CLASSIC #Lovesign
