I took my Tahoe to a dealership in the Fox Valley and they wanted to tear my whole dash out. Please tell us what dealership you are at so I can schedule my Tahoe to get it fixed.

I am Summit Auto in FDL. We are not a GM dealership, but I would tell the dealership you are taking it to to try swapping out the GPS antenna if this is your exact issue. I habe typically found that if the GPS is in the wrong coordinates its the antenna. There is always a chance the radio is bad and the antenna might not fix this specific issue.

Thanks just bought a used 2013 MKZ, ive been paranoid about locking my keys in the car haha, need to set my own code to get in!! Hope i can squeeze in there to see. I have a sewer snake camera that i can maybe stick in there easier than my phone! will try that tomorrow

Gorilla glass is GARBAGE and cracked WITHOUT being moved , during the night. Yes. Garaged and with no provocation . Fast forward two weeks later and a small rock hit it and instantly spidered. Mopar also gives you a hard time with the warranty.

I agree. I have seen just as many chipped windshields with the gorilla glass as the old windshields. It is a fancy naming gimmick. Maybe works good for cell phones but not so much for car windshields

Does anyone else have a difficult time reading the dipstick on their 2011 Ford f150 5.0 V8? It's extremely difficult to reach awkward to pull out and reinsert. I get a different read each time. Sometimes it's full,then again it looks almost empty. Very frustrating! Trucks from 40 and 50 years ago were very simple to check oil level why did they have to screw it up?

I have a small KZbin channel and i have had a few people give me a Super thanks to which i am extremely grateful. I think what the person below was saying is that KZbin takes about 30% if the income from the Super thanks, but if that Super thanks was paid using an Apple phone or tablet, Apple take another 20% Apple tax cut of any payment made using their Tech, so effectively you are getting taxed 50% if the payment was made using Apple tech. I also now get taxed by the IRS even though i am not am not from the USA, so i also pay another 15% tax on top of the other taxes, so around 65%, so 30% to KZbin, 15% to the IRS and if i am lucky enough that someone feels that i deserve a tip, another 20% is taken for that. I then have to also pat tax in my own country of residence, anything up to 24% is paid depending on those earnings. So all in all i am paying between 70% to 90% tax for all KZbin income.

I would be interested in finding this out too. I had to replace my battery and after replacing I noticed my GPS said I was in Wisconsin, I'm actually in Alabama too. I've spent days searching the internet and found nothing. Most of the issues found were about blank screens etc. everything else in my car works fine, just not the GPS. There is an information button on the mylink screen, and I clicked it then clicked navigation, it shows no satellites found. My GPS screen also shows the word GPS in the upper right corner of the screen with a line through it. I've checked all my fuses, and they're all fine. It's really frustrating. I cringe when I think about going to the dealership, it always feels like they're taking you for as much money as they can get. Each time I've been to the dealership, even for regular maintenance service, I never get out of there for less than 1K, and it's usually closer to 2k. The main reason I quit going to the dealership, I have no faith that they aren't trying to rip me off. Sure would be nice to know if there was a fairly easy fix I could do myself.

The problem is GM charging 107 bucks for a vin number specific update every year. Also all the physical little parts. 2021 moved to google maps which is better.

I do believe you’re right. if I ever fix mine I’ll come back with an update. Mine quit working back in the summer. I never really use the factory navigation. I use my app on my phone instead so it doesn’t make sense to spend money on repairing it. But I would like to fix it just in case I ever trade my car off. But I have always suspected that an automatic car wash damaged my antenna. We have one locally that’s just really rough and it got stuck right in the area of my gps antenna and I’ve always believed that was the cause.

Hello my 2017 suburban radio is acting up. It changes stations by itself and goes from one screen to the next without someone touching the screen. Have you dealt with that issue?

You probably need a new radio. I have seen that on several Cadillacs. Same radio different brand. Actually had a Cadillac CTS do the exact same thing. Needed a new radio.

I drove from Seattle to San Diego with my High Tide Wrangler and averaged 22.5 MPG. I took it easy on acceleration, drove 1-2 MPH over the speed limit, and drove behind semi-trucks part of the way (no tail-gating). After 6000 miles I've averaged 18.5 MPG combined Highway and City. Not hyper-miling but driving normally.

That's actually not that bad! I drove my 15 down to Florida and back similar situation highway semis, but I was probably not doing 1 over the speed limit. I think we averaged about 16 or 17. Can't Remember it was 8 years ago already! Wow How time flies!

My question is there will be a lot con questions about the power battery pack because of age or faulty function, costly expensive for replacement of new power battery like $12k plus labor. How buyers respond when they think and will afraid to buy a used jeep 4Xe which you try to sell it because of the power battery pack last longer or short life..

I have a 2018 JLUR stock atm and if I can keep it in 8th gear on the highway I consistently get 21-23 mpg at around 75-85mph From what I have heard, the Mopar lift and 35s will drop the MPG about 5mpg. I have heard the gladiators get a bit worse due to the extra weight of them and the wind drag of the bed. LOVED the end of the video! lol the curse of all Jeep lovers.... buying that next one after the last one has been gone a bit. the love/ curse is real! haha

Horrible practices. 69 mph is not where you measure fuel consumption compared to sticker. 10 -20 miles is not enough to get a proper average at speed. I managed 31mpg in the diesel going from Colorado to AZ and 28 on the way back. I deliberately picked a 65mph route.. anything above that and my fuel consumption goes up dramatically. Like 23-24 at 70mph. 5moh makes a huge difference
