Yes, we need a LiDAR-equipped device to get the best result. However, it's possible to implement a bit less powerful solution for devices without LiDAR.

Can this system detect the exact same crack in different settings? For example, say the bottle moves from one warehouse (room) to another, would the system be able to tell the same crack it saw already in another location or would it just identify the crack it saw before just another crack?
@MobidevBizCorp2 жыл бұрын
If I got it right, yes. Once the model receives enough data for training, it has no problem in detecting the crack and understanding that this is the same crack it saw few minutes ago.

Apache Cordova is not dead, thankfully because there is no other alternative. I currently have applications that run both on a website and in an application with exactly the same code (as simple as copy&paste). To my knowledge, there is no other framework that makes this possible.
@jeremywj2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, this video is very misleading. Just because a 3rd party decides to stop supporting something doesn't mean it is dead. Then they blantently lie when they say it is retired. That said, I still use cordova but I think capacitor might be worth switching to. I like the way capacitor handles platforms. Most cordova projects can be switched to capacitor pretty easily.

Thanks for saying this. I'm looking around at all this buzz about "sunset of Cordova" and Flutter, Capacitor, React Native, etc ... would really like to keep my Cordova app base(s) for a while vs move to something completely new. Is there an article or press release from the Cordova folks saying it will indeed be around for a while?
@glurp1er Жыл бұрын
@@EmersonArtwork I have no idea... Sadly since January Google Play is forcing us to use the MediaStore API to save files, which makes cordova-plugin-file obsolete. I didn't test Capacitor yet, but it seems more frequently updated.

imagine a scenario : - there are 4 parking slots slot 1 and slot 3 is filled , a car arrived and slot 2 is assigned to it ,a second car arrived and since slot 2 is already assigned ,the only remaining slot 4 is assigned to second car . now 1st car instead of parking in assigned slot 2 it goes to slot 4.the second car since the slot allotted is slot 4 moves towards that slot but it finds that slot 4 is filled by first car. how can we overcome such scenarios with our parking system.
@MobidevBizCorp2 жыл бұрын
Hello Aswin, and thank you for the question. Such scenarios barely represent a challenge, here is why: Reserving a parking lot via you're smartphone doesn't mean that the factual occupation of a parking lot is not checked with a hardware sensor. These sensors send data in streams, which means they constantly check whether the parking lot is occupied or freed, and pass the status to the server. So, in case driver 1 has booked slot 2, but actually occupied slot 4, the hardware sensor on the slot 2 will check if the car has actually arrived, and send this data to the backend. The same goes to slot 4. Finally, the status of the slot 2 will be updated in the mobile application. But the whole process will take just a few seconds until there can be an issue with parking both cars.

1. AI & Robotics - analyse cloud temperature data, facial recognition under masks, predict covid pattern of spread, radiotherapy, 3D printing, robotics surgery + rehab helper, nanobots. Chatbots VIR to help patients self diagnose themselves. Digitalised information --> cloud storage. 2. Telemedicine/remote care - HIPAA compliance (security + confidentiality). 3. Extended reality: AR (augmented reality) & VR headsets- surgery can be remote, enable other doctors to give advice, enrich training. Nurses can find veins to draw blood. 4. Debate on metaverses - may be vastly overblown but there are some potential that it will be useful in healthcare setting. VR training for doctors to improve their skills and enhance phobia patients treatments (fear of heights and PTSD, help elders unlock past memory). 5. IoMT technilogies - wearables (smartwatch), smartpills 6. Organ care for transplants - extend its longevity for transportation. 7. Bioprinting - grow organs from scratch using tissue model, and cultivated into bioink. so organs can be better engineered for the host.

What software and hardware is required in this process
@MobidevBizCorp2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the scale of a system and exact tasks you want to complete. Usually, you'll need computer vision cameras as a video recording device, and a server where the model will operate. That's what you need concerning hardware as a bare minimum. In terms of software, well. Neural network is required to fetch the features and apply them to launch detection and classification tasks. Then you'll need a computer vision model to detect anomalies on the image. Besides this there is a machine learning pipeline that serves training tasks and all burden corresponding data transmission, transformation, cleaning, etc.

@MobidevBizCorp2 жыл бұрын
Hello, yes, it does exist. You can check our demo (platform.mobi-dev.com/demo/2/) on the available algorithm to see how it works. Basically, the demo is simple as that: download a sample video performing some type of movement, wait for a couple of minutes, and see the algorithm build a skeleton representation of a human body. More on the free algorithms and available technology for human pose estimation you can find in our article: mobidev.biz/blog/human-pose-estimation-technology-guide

You can use pose estimation with media pipe. It's an U net connected to a RNN if I remember correctly.

Why do you think 11 seconds on the drawbacks of PWAs is appropriate in a 17 minute advert? You need to make your videos more balanced or just quit spamming about stuff that has no good reason to exist in the first place.
@oleksiitsymbal82053 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I do have my own thoughts on PWA as well. But the technology exists, and our clients use it from time to time (based on their own reasons), so that's why we share our expertise. As for drawbacks - there are some cases when PWA doesn't fit. And there are also plenty of scenarios, that could be done even with PWA, like API backward compatibility and updates - and we mentioned it in the article. You have the point, that frameworks like Flutter could do better - but that's another story. In this podcast, we focused on PWA and how it could be done.

Indeed, AR is an emerging technology, which is used by early adopters mostly. Among the big names leveraging indoor navigation systems with the technology are retailers like Target and Home Depot. Volkswagen utilized AR indoor navigation to improve localization in their manufacturing processes. At least that's what we know.

is there way to detect some unwanted things from bunch of materials . like some unknown object which are not listed in our dataset .
@MobidevBizCorp3 жыл бұрын
Sure, the model could be trained to detect different objects, and then notify only if some of the objects are unknown to it. Anyway, each case should be evaluated in order to give you a more precise answer. If you have photo samples, it will help engineers to say if it is possible to detect or not.
