I always found this system a bit elitist. I had to work throughout high school because my parents are immigrants and we didn’t have money or the luxury of free time to “create a club”. So my category was just in the “eh” and “good” category. Most of the kids who did “Better”+ were privileged enough to have leisure time.

UNM has a lot of really cool and beautiful architecture. It’s based off of traditional New Mexican Pueblo architecture. So it’s not “ugly” it’s just different and traditional.

I got to spend a summer at wash u for a camp and omg the place is amazing and not far from dining bit the classrooms are a little bit of a walk but the entire place is amazing so it doesn't really matter

Just to clarify this list is based on how good they are for your college applications, not how good they are to do in general. If you enjoy a certain activity, definitely do it and don’t worry too much about college because you can get a good education in many different places and you should not only worry about if the thing you do is good for your app just because you want to get into a “good” college.

I really disagree with the "Eh" category. Everyone is focusing on the other generic stuff (clubs, businesses, varsity, etc) that the ONLY way to stand out is having unique personal hobbies. That can actually say a lot about yourself, not just that you are a stereotypical leader
