Thank you, It is but only by changing the full case, this ends up adding quite a bit of cost as you also need a crown, case back, etc. I have done it though and transplanted this dial and movement into various cases (check my SSK021 Guinness GMT video for an example)

Beautiful build! I got an SNKP21 a month ago and wanted to ask; Will an SKX chapter ring fit in the original SNKP21 case? The SNKP21 chapter ring seems a lot thicker from the case to the dial to my eye.

Hi. No the SNKP21 chapter ring is unique to the case, so it’s different to the skx007 size

great video comparison. Tudor lists the newest Black Bay thickness as 13.6mm. So it went from 12.7 to 14.8 to 13.6. Lug width is now 21 vs 22mm.

No screws in the bracelet - no shame, basic pins or pins/collars are actually more reliable than screws that trend to unscrew during the normal wear of the watch

The SKX013 was one of my best buys about 7 years ago, before the price hikes across the watch industry. I paid £80 new, when most of the Seiko 5s could be bought for around £60. I love the look of that new sapphire crystal. I may buy the same one and take it to my local watch guy.

Can you use the sane rotating bezel (oem) ? On the same glass and insert? It appears watch and style is now out of stock and no one else carries the same rotating bezel.

You can in theory but it will leave an ugly gap between the insert and the bezel edge, W&S will restock eventually, can always get the right part later

I do mention this in the video, with some flat bezel inserts you can use the original glass with cyclops, but not this ceramic design as it’s sloping and needs a higher crystal

It’s hard to turn the crown, manipulate various tools etc with the glove on the other hand, the watches come out well in the end anyway, smudges can easily be cleaned

@svkwatches I was under the impression that it was the oils and salinity of our skin that was bad for the metals inside the watch more so than smudges. I use tighter gloves. Maybe try one size smaller or the little finger cots. 😬

I think you mean the 39mm seiko oak case? This one is available here: a.aliexpress.com/_EuYUjU4 But the case is currently sold out, it’s worth saving that product/seller as it will come back eventually. And yes it’s 100m water resistant if made correctly

Just bought this one here on ebay here in Australia, never worn and new in box. The guy I bought it from was only selling the watch, I messaged him asking about the model car and he reluctantly sold it to me for an extra 50 bucks. It looks identical to the one you have, but without the citizen logo, I think the models we got in Australia were a little different.
