Actually the kind you have is the the roasted version which gives it the brown color and smell. As we all know, cooking oils makes them loose most of the nutrients. There is a cold pressed version that is ivory in color which has not been ruined by heat. MUCH BETTER!!

Batana oil. Is just that. Batana oil(no other ingredients). Smells like nuts or coffee. Its brown!!! Not green. Should absorb immediately not just sit there... read. Research before buying.

My batana oil is browm and smells like coffee verry strong with a hint of caramel , but as i live in a humid country it melted and it got a grainy texture to it, does anyone experience and this?

I'm not gone lie. If works. My locs were dry. I apply it and days later my hair is still shiny and lubricated. I just don't like the peanut buttery smell

@@divaliciousdanielle when you receive it, check where it’s sourced & the full ingredients list. Unfortunately most likely it isn’t authentic if it comes from China but since it’s becoming popular there may be some companies that have invested in the oil.

@ I have not received it yet, however the Botanix company emailed me and said that it was made in the USA but I call b.s and my bank has agreed to refund me all of my money should it not be authentic. I will definitely keep you updated.

@ 6 months but I used it as a sealer. You still need a hair moisturizer. I use Taliah Waajid as my hair moisturizer.

Hello, your Batana oil has too many ingredients and the label has batana oil last so it’s not 100% authentic. The ingredients should only read Batana Oil or 100% Batana Oil. Plus you don’t need to add anything else with it. That will destroy the potency of it. Plus, you’re supposed to rinse it.

@@nyasianonstopI respect your way. I was just pointing out the ingredients. What works for one may work different for others. I understand. I’ve read where you can use Batana oil in different ways as well, as a pre-poo, leave in or apply for 30 minutes or overnight and rinse.

I’ve had it for a while but haven’t touched it. I just mixed it into my conditioner cuz I cowash like every other day. I cut all my hair off like 2 months ago so this along with my blue magic grease and we gon see what we get 😂🤞🏾
