Good afternoon. I have that same levenger cover so pretty. Im currently using it as a nutrition journal. I’m thinking about purchasing the planner you have thx for this video. What time of the day will you be updating this journal.

@@SunshineFL hello! Thank you for watching! I agree, the cover is so pretty. I'm not sure what you mean by updating? The planner inserts are daily pages so I just fill them in that morning and close the day that night.

Hi Yana. I so enjoy your Circa videos. I switched from a pebbled leather cover one of the Sliver style, and while I love the slimmer silhouette of the Sliver, I REALLY miss the pen loop. Not sure what I'm going to do.

White Vinegar and water works well plus you save money

Not in the long run. White vinegar is too corrosive and will shorten the life span of your machine, meaning you’ll have to replace it faster. Nearly all descaling solutions are made with citric acid because it simultaneously works better and is less harsh on the machine.

So I'm new to this binding. I have the we r makers multi cinch tool with the disc punch tool. Are all discs the same? Can brands be interchangeable, I mean? Is it just the diameter size that's different?

from my experience - they are interchangeable. Some are better than others due to materials used in making the discs. yes, there are some slight differences, but the main difference is the diameter size of the discs.

So all the chemicals from the descaling powder are now in the filter? You should be removing the filter before the descaling process.

Yes but I replace that filter as well. After the descale process.

Hi. I just came across your video! So happy to have someone explain. Question which paper has the reinforced edge so it doesn't tear when you pull it out. I am going to get the aluminum disc and i am running out of my paper that had the green dotted lines that were reinforced. Looking all over for it. Does anyone know and can send a link?

Thank you so much for watching! I haven't used paper with a reinforced edge. I haven't had issues with paper tearing since I use that thicker smooth HP paper. But maybe someone else knows and can respond to your message.

For people that have one brand hold puncher, but you’d like using the other brand paper. You can use tape to go on the outside and just re-punch it also depending on what type of tape you use it gives it an extra hold to where it will last longer and the paper will not tear. I have a lot of notes that I want to keep for years to come, and I basically tape all of my edges just so they don’t tear.

Love this idea, Yana. These books are perfect. I store my Washi Tape in metal cutlery trays that fit in my craft drawers. This allows me to see at a glance what I have, and use them more too.

Love the heavy-duty Levenger punch, and the Levenger size/shape hole as well. Just don't drop this plastic punch on the floor :-( That said, it still works, and I can easily punch through cardboard and plastic to make my own dividers and things. FYI - Levenger-punched pages stick out over the tabs of some of my HP dividers, also a sad thing. I bought a HP punch just because I love the Work+Life planner dividers (and found I could use them permanently, covering the first half of the two month spread on the back with attractive coordinating paper). The silver aluminum discs that came with that planner look nice - but overall, the aluminum looks a bit too fancy for the cheap plastic look of HP. LOVE the look, feel and smell of Levenger leather foldover notebooks and softfolios. I just wish they had a wider selection! If you crave a delicious leather experience, Levenger is awesome. Pay attention to the styles that cycle in and out, and wait for a sale to snag something pretty (like I did with the pearl white leather).

I love coming across spiral or composition notebooks being used simply and real. Not a bunch of pretty writing, stickers and washi. I have the Pen&Gear composition from Walmart that I’m going to use to plan this years garden and planting

I think I just had to purchase a bunch of different sizes and use them as needed. But I understand that seeing each size in comparison would be great. I'll look through my stash and see if I have enough different sizes to make a video.

The pages in the Circa smartPlanner are thicker than these daily pages that you are using, btw. (100 gsm)
