Skaald of the Hearth Fires

In the words of Sieran: this is a sad story, but perhaps we can give it a happy ending.

I am a skaald, a teller of stories. I tell them with hope they did not have, life where it held death, and peace where there was only pain and uncertainty. Some stories are meant to be retold. Among them are the tales of Destiny's Edge, Magister Sieran, Marshal Trahearne, and Warmaster Forgal Kernsson.

Welcome to Dreams of Freedom, a fan-made alternate universe written and narrated by TIOtheTiffany and filmed in Tyria (the setting of ArenaNet's MMORPG, Guild Wars 2). I am currently writing Reforging the Edge, the first book in the DoF universe, focused on Destiny's Edge. It is available on the Archive of Our Own and on Tumblr, and I also run a Discord for those interested in deeper discussion about Dreams of Freedom, Guild Wars 2, and their stories and characters.

Hey y'all, thanks for listening to my story :) Now for some feedback: Would you prefer for me to leave off the intro + outro to each chapter? Maybe make the intro the first video of the playlist instead of the first twenty seconds of each video, so you can get straight to the story? Let me know either way!

I love the intro and outro makes it more personal. It adds to the immersion.
