A simple, practical and economical barn. Good shelter for fattening calves (moderate weather). A novice farmer needs every cent for his venture. Size and capacity are not recorded, usually an area (3.5 ) square meters per calf.

I don’t really know exactly what your asking but their is pit fans the so called basement and if there were any gasses they would get blown out with the air moving through the barn

I know it’s a year later but they won’t freeze because those water fountains are automatic so everyone a cow takes a drink it refills the trough back to plum full, as many cows as are in their they water doesn’t have anything to sit hardly because it’s moving to the water tanks so it doesn’t have time to freeze I hope that made sense

2 of the largest dairy farms in the world are in China 230,000 cows each. That's a lot of Pats! its didn't look as if they could move at all.

Looks pretty clean to me. Have you ever been around a dairy farm??? The parlors are clean but around here the rest is pretty filthy and their cows look like they have it pretty good!!!

No the micro bacteria will keep it warm enough unless it gets around -30°F

Too many cows and they are so dirty. They can’t get out to really get fresh air and walk around. Do you keep them Bunched up up just to eat and gain weight?

That pit is a giant pond of fertilizer. Instead of buying. You spray the liquid manure over the land to keep the land healthy.

Only thing i see wrong is the drive alley should have been the width of truck and mixer or tractor and mixer , not necessarily have to be concrete but reclaimed asphalt would do

Nice barn. I'd add a 15' apron at the entrance doors and maybe would have sided it on one side with translucent siding instead of the red to gain more interior lights.
