I just re listened to both tracks back to back and I'd say sam goes a lot further with the track than pretty pimpin, the song grows whereas PP just vibes along

I often feel like people just say these things, likethis and I have no idea what they mean. The time-signatures and riffs of the songs are different, the lyric content is different. If you're being really, really charitable, they might share a theme or two. It's kind of like people kept saying People Watching is Boys Of Summer and they're just insane. lol I never know if they're trolling. lol

True, I feel like his more poppy radio friendly tunes are distilled into the best version of that formula, you'd only get from him. So they're great. But, he's an incredible writer and musical talent, so the B-tunes where he's just writing for himself are masterful! Like, I always thought if someone else wrote Paradigms from Seventeen, it be the most emotive thing they ever wrote, so it'd be a lead single. But, it's Sam so it's just Track 10. He's that great.

drugs may not come in the form of substances. its anything u are latched to cope with life, including people and circumstances. being a former drug user myself i think relying on people for inspiration to live on is the worst kind of drug a person to have. am turning 60 soon. drugs are less disappointing than people.
