How do you all feel about decreasing the strictness of zoning laws to lower the cost of housing? In some cases we should decrease the strictness of building codes? Yes we should. During the time of America's civil war (before and after) building codes were much less strict. William Wallace lived in a low quality house. On the day you all go to Church do you still go out to eat? (Matthew 5, Matthew 22 and Romans 14).

Have to agree. Good word. Nice is definitely passive. We do need to remember too, kindness can be misinterpreted as being nice also. Kindness most certainly isn’t weakness as some take advantage and granted of. Ignorance is most certainly taken for granted also in this good/evil reality. To use and abuse... Certainly being nice is a fluffy, cloudy kind of ignorant way of being, that of which we’re all coming out of like it or not.

Nice can be faked! How do narcacists make friends? How do fraudsters bleed your money? Nice is used to mask evil!.. True empathy cannot be faked and does NOT require one to be nice and this is the same with sympathy, sympathy can be faked with ease also! A wise being would ignore both these characteristics blatantly without questions. 😊❤

@15:30 did Moses really lay down all of his comfort to follow Christ? Seems more like the circumstances led him out of Egypt and the consequences of sin. God used that to shape and mold Moses into the man of God he became, but I don't see the correlation that Moses did that out of choice. Still, I agree that this is something we can and should do; lay down our own comfort to pursue purpose. I just don't see Moses as being a good example to illustrate this. Why not use Christ Himself who indeed laid down His Godhood to pursue His purpose on earth: Save His creation. "Christ himself was like God in everything. But he did not think that being equal with God was something to be used for his own benefit. But he gave up his place with God and made himself nothing. He was born as a man and became like a servant." Philippians 2:6-11 What better example do we need than that? Love ya brother Neil and thank you for another important and encouraging message. Praying for you and your ministry.

Moses is a perfect example. That is why the writer of Hebrews used him as such, as with all of those mentioned in Hebrews 11. Moses decided to give up the pleasures of following Christ, regardless of the circumstances. Circumstances alone do not make us; our decisions do. Of course, our attitude should be like Christ; nevertheless, as the Scriptures say, these ancients were "examples for us."

You described what a quarrelsome wife is, but you didn’t tell me how to live with mine lol
@theduke61746 ай бұрын
The truth is the Bible basically says you lay your bed then lie in it. You reap what you sow. But for those wise single men, they must be selective, very selective before marriage. If you have a quarrelsome wife, tolerate what you chose to marry unless she breaks your vows.
@mark0bravo6 ай бұрын
@@theduke6174 I only know one place in the bible where it says tolerate: revelation 2 where Jesus says he has a problem with Thyatira tolerating that woman Jezebel. I’m not arguing your point; just saying that tolerance isn’t a Christian virtue. God bless you man.

Darryl Wooten nailed it. Not only does he tell what we need to do but he’s telling HOW to do it. Vision is good but a plan of action to accomplish this vision is a necessity. We get stuck with a vision without a proper action plan which gives us the right way to achieve the vision. It takes work to achieve a vision. Not just proclaiming it. 2:28:48
