I do not like discrimination in any form. I want to make that clear; however, quotas and mandates should not be forced on us in the marketplace. What I am really trying to say here is WHY do we need to move our jobs overseas when we have capable and competent workers here in the U.S. My small town would love an assembly plant and would jump at the chance to get the job. If the jobs started out at $10/hour even we would love to have them.

Let me ask you this: When you rode, did you always wave at the other Biker when they passed you by, no matter the brand of bike they were riding? When you see a Biker on the side of the road, do you stop no matter what the color of their skin is or the bike they ride? How about on group/charity rides and at bike nights? Were you only talking with other Harley owners, or did you talk with Sport and Adventure Bikers as well? Sure, it might not have been your style, but you could appreciate the similarities and the differences, and that made the both of you better for it! When did being kind become so bad?? As I understand it, being "woke" means that someone is informed, educated and conscious of social injustice and racial inequality and progressive values want to reduce or lessen the harmful effects of economic inequality as well as systemic discrimination such as institutional racism; to advocate for social safety nets and workers' rights. So basically, being "woke" is being kind to one another, treating others how you want to be treated, helping where you can and being the positive change you want to see in the world... pretty much what I learned in Sunday School and what I know about being a Biker. You want to hate a company for what it does to their workers? Look at what Red Lobster did- first selling their real estate only to have to lease back the property and second having their majority shareholder also their main supplier of shrimp! More on that here: prospect.org/economy/2024-05-22-raiding-red-lobster/ So, since Jochen took over as CEO, the MoCo's stock is in a much better place than when Levatich left (5ys on the NYSE: finance.yahoo.com/quote/HOG/). And, even if you're buying products only made in the USA, you're still getting a GLOBAL product because they likely sourced the materials used from other countries. WE ARE A GLOBAL ECONOMY!! My guess is the guy/podcaster promoting this negativity is 1) NOT what I'd call a Biker and, 2) Likely has a money angle in it for himself - either wants to wait till HOG stocks drops below a certain point and then have the stock value go up only to sell or has bought stock in Indian/Polaris and is wanting their stock to rise. No matter what, I'm not buying into his bullshit. I will continue to ride my Harley, shop at Tractor Supply (before and after they dropped their DEI & climate change), educate myself, seek others who are the same but different, and be kind to everyone. 💖

You are correct. I just get upset when I see these companies moving our jobs off shore because it hurts our small towns and communities and leaves our workers in a bind. I guess it upsets me because it happened to me several times. Yes, being kind is what we all should be no matter what.

Here we go brother, checked out the 22 Electra glide last night. The bike actually has only 300 miles original owner. He’s the type to work on the bike more than ride it, he did 12” handlebars, full V&H exhaust, all leds and some other things. Thinking to finalize the deal this Sat for 13k… I keep watching this video for the insight. To be honest, if it wasn’t for this video of you explaining all this, I probably wouldn’t be moving forward with the purchase.. You touched on so many things I’m thinking about, all the life stuff.. I think about riding more than anything else lol. I’m so afraid how much I’ll regret it if I don’t do this now in my 30’s.. plus I’m getting the bike at a steal, so I can always sell it if I need to. Thank you for everything, will keep you updated! 🙏

Hey brother, thank you for your content. I am looking at a 2022 Electra glide this week. Bike only has 600 miles, mostly blacked out, all LED's with V&H slip-ons. The guy is local and willing to let me take it for 13k. I watched a lot of your videos to gain an understanding of the bike. The videos helped me tremendously! Additionally, I'm getting cold feet on the purchase and watching this video helped me so much! Especially what you mentioned saying "just buy the dam** bike" lol (in my 30's, based out of VA). You could consider not closing the channel and just leaving it as is. So much value in your content, watching this video is helping me make these decisions. Imagine all of the others that can gain insight from watching this! You are in our prayers brother and we wish you the best of luck! You'll find your way back to good sight, I'm sure of it!
