Happy to be watching your review again now that we have our table. Have to do the mat thing, will be great for games and preventing our cat from playing with the felt.

You're welcome. I'm now hoping that we get a new set following the 2024 rules update that will do a better job...

Hi Adam, I need to get one of these! Not to sound sadistic where my players are concerned, ha ha. I've got a few individual Wiz Kids minis of things like that same iron maiden, the rack, etc that are completely identical to the ones you show us here; I guess they just used the same models. I can see painting a "dried blood stain" on the top of that table and maybe gluing the surgical tray to it for a really nasty bit of torture-chamber dressing.
@JadekindGaming19 күн бұрын
Yeah, WizKids reuses sculpts fairly often - but that tends to work out for those of us that don't buy every one of their sets. And, yes, you could definitely make some of these more gruesome with some red paint.

Yo, I know this is a decade old , but thank you for these videos. Been watching a bunch of these to make informed purchases. Appreciate it.

you got so many views here that maybe you should do another "dice unboxing" :)

I have - I did one just 5 months ago even... Not sure why this one caught on and others haven't... But, I like dice, so I'm sure on occasion I'll keep doing more.

I've seen this game available at my local game shop and wondered what it was all about. Thanks for the review; I kind of want to get one of these now.

My wife and I have been loving the game - I'll have some expansion unboxings coming out eventually as we've already picked a couple of them up. It has a fun mix of being relaxing and involving strategy.

I never play magic, but imma buy this pack bc I want to learn, and bc I’m a big fallout fan too hahah
@JadekindGaming25 күн бұрын
And that's why I'm loving these 'universe beyond' sets - Magic has always been a fun game, but sets like this are great to adapt the fun rule system to a theme, like Fallout, that is fun for more people. I hope you enjoy the game!

A couple of those and a one shot where everyone has a dragon would be epic. Definitely feeling compelled to put dragons in my campaign with different houses because of House of Dragons.

Just ordered the book and foundry content. I planned on running modern on foundry, and my heart broke when I saw it wasn't supported. So I bit the bullet and spent some money on a 5E-style product (shudder). Videos like this helped me look around my disdain for 5E and convinced me to take the leap. Never underestimate the value of a small youtube channel. Keep it up, my man. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it works for a modern setting, and their changes rounded off a lot of my 5E complaints. Seeing as how the setting changes and the fact that every superhero character farts magic from level one were my primary complaints, my happiness makes sense. Keeping Modern alive is [insert favorite sky daddy here]'s work.

Wonderful, I hope you have tons of fun with it. I have enjoyed 5e, but I do like a lot of the changes that were made for Everyday Heroes more.

I knew I wasn't the only one who thought it was janky that the box made it seem the drum sticks are separate. I pulled mine until the sides both bent up but yeah, the middle of them seems to be glued down 😂.

These solid/opaque, plastic, single-color dice really take me back. I've been playing D&D and other RPGs for a LONG time ha ha. I think I need to get myself one of these Bags of Holding.

That's nice, for me the solid color dice seemed like the less interesting ones, so it's good to know they can be appreciated as nostalgic.

Good review. Does the magnetic strip go all the way around the outside of the table for the drink holders and other accessories? Or is it just on the long sides of the table?

Thank you. The metal strip for the magnetic accessories is on all 4 sides of the table both inside and out.

I bought it straiht away , though had to wait a while to receive it in Australia from drive thru. I like it because it put me in mind iof a fighting fantasy game book by Rhianna pratchett ( Crystal of Storms ) that i like your setting . I ove the idea of travelling from island to island and having adventures . Thanks !!
