I have a pic of my old Man fighting in Korea as a 17 year old... with no shirt, and his gear strapped on in a makeshift rig that looked like it would fall apart at any minute. He went on to fight in Vietnam as well. I find the evolution of tactical gear fascinating as hell.

I've never zeroed based on ballistics from a book. I've always taken a new rifle to the range and zeroed by shooting at 100yds. Also, when I'm zeroing, I use my pecker as well, I really dig it in. Gives me that 5th wheel effect, its highly recommended.

I'm using 14.5 Geissele. Would rather the 18350 due to size, but I'm getting conflicting information on it's ability to use Cr123 and rechargeable vs. the 18350. I'm thinking the only difference is the battery life between the two, not brightness or the 18350 not taking cr123s?

I was rewatching the video you made (after seeing Dirty Civilian do it) on painting rifles and with the Magpul Bipod, if you have yet to notice, there is a knob on the center bottom of it (between the legs) and that is how to loosen/tighten depended on your preference.
