This isn't a bug, Pyke hook doesn't pull based on the hooks direction, enemies are always pulled towards Pyke so if you're on the side of an enemy the enemy gets pulled to the side, all the other hook characters also pull towards them.

That he used his hook towards the midlane (so he would hook ivern towards toplane where Zac was). But because ivern was on the side of Pyke, near baron pit, he went from side to side instead.
