interesting subject.costs of methods of winter fodder storage and comparison of twine, net wrap and plastic film usage. so 1 year on which method produces the quality feed you need , and how do the costs work out,and did you manage to reduce plastic usage or increase any recycling rates?

INDIVIDUAL wrap is better for me. I'll stick with it especially if selling individually wrapped bales from year to year

The reason for more plastic is because of all the handling involved, otherwise you would complain about all the holes. The bales I keep I use less twine and and plastic. The hay I sell is more twine and thicker plastic. Sell enough hay and you will find out.

Nice video! Great to see how you move the cows around. Your farm and the surrounding area are lovely. I'm sure the drone footage would have been very nice. Enjoyed the video! Well done.

Excellent video! New trailer is pretty awesome. Incredible seeing the difference in the amount of wrap with the bales side by side. Great discussion. The herd is looking fit. Well done!

Great video! Nice for you to get a good amount of time to spend with Stoney Ridge Farmer. Very kind of him. Personally, I've never heard of TYM brand tractors but it is always nice to see what machines are out there. Seems like a very nice show set up. So I enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing the video. Looking forward to seeing your news about improvements.

Pretty grim weather. Actually I'm in the middle of a 20 cm snowfall here in Ontario as I watch your video. Cattle use hay to stoke their furnace so it's good to see them with leftovers. Good video. Pax.

I totally agree on what you said about idling vs driving to warm up an engine. I've read that 90 percent of engine wear happens below operating temperature so to me driving it gentle and getting the temp up faster is way better for the engine than idling for 30 minutes below operating temp.

Feed and water the cows. Sounds simple enough. Snow isn't bad by itself, but add in the wind and slick muddy fields and it gets to be trouble. You're handling it well. Stay safe when you fix the tin wall. It can be frustrating to see how one thing like the cost of wrap can cause problems in so many other areas. Appreciate you taking the time to make a video about it. Well done!

The cold weather and new headaches on the farm, never a dull moment. Looks like you have it under control. You do a good job explaining, filming and doing the work all at the same time. Multi tasking is a big deal. Good video. Pax.
