You did the benchmark totally wrong! There are two settings: Run benchmark -> Runs only on recommended settings, not on your actual settings! Test performance -> Runs on your actual settings And you clicked on Run benchmark!

I had crashing and instability issues with my 14900K, turns out 4 sticks of 6400 Mhz RAM, XMP enabled, and with AI Tweaker set to "Extreme" made the system unstable. I set AI Tweaker to "Performance," XMP off and now everything is fine.

Thank you, what about you? 50 series dissapointed me, but was expected with AI and the so far shown performance in cyberpunk in native 4K and wasn't surprised they pushed even further more DLSS, new type of frame gen, fake fps and e.t.c e.t.c, you?

@WizTaylor32 No worries, man, all good. And yeah, I hear you winter time has always been a tough time for me as well, but I'm pulling through as best as I can. Hang in there, though. And yeah, the 50 series was a huge disappointment. I'm still going to try and get one, though. I think I'm going to go with the MSI Suprim X model, which will be $2400. The top of the line Asus Astral model is $2800, though too much for me to consider it, so I'll shoot for the Suprim X model on January 30th.

@@LousWRX OOF, $2800, yeah astral is great, new, innovative, quad fans, yeah it's ASUS and top-tier, but c'mon ASUS chill a little it doesn't have diamonds inside, but I saw the Suprim X model too, looks great I like it and it's quite clean and very sharp, and it should have great cooling, cause MSI always for some reason have a great cooling Also, was at the dentist, the other week to pull a tooth (with anesthesia, obviously I'm not a sadist) and the other day to clean them, then in february to check my gums and I'll have to wear braces for 2 years non-stop in a row and it'll cost above $2000, but paid periodically, not all at once and jokingly I think that if u don't pay them on time monthly or whatever, they come in your house and knock your teeth out LOL

I'm getting around 50-70fps on high settings and 4k on my rtx 3070 how is it possible the difference is so litle because the 4080 super is way more powerful than the one i have and with uhd on to i hit around 40fps

@jorancardon7125 It's probably because this is such an older title, and it doesn't utilize newer hardware properly.

That's pretty decent fps. I have a 9900x and an original 4080 and get around 70-80FPS. I have a 9800x3d coming in today or tomorrow and debating if I'm gonna keep it, sell it or return it.

4X MSAA is probably the sweet spot because there is barely any noticeable difference between 4X MSAA and 8X MSAA but on 8X MSAA the FPS is not as high as in 4X MSAA.

I'm impressed by the fact that NFS Carbon not only reliably averages around 400fps (good enough for a 240-360Hz screen), but also properly utilizes an enthusiast grade GPU released 16 years after it launched while running under DX9.

@i1jko It's not terrible. The cards are designed to go up to 80C without any damage done. Generally, anything below 74C is more than safe.

How does your game run so smoothly? When I try to play the game on my RTX 4090 it runs like at 2 FPS. But this didn’t happen on my older pc which had a GTX 1060. Do you know how to fix this?

Here in 2025 this mod works phenomenally, just make sure to start the game through the mod, turn frame lock on, set it to what you wish, and then click patch game.

Hey I wanted to ask you something since I'm getting my 9800x3d probably start of next week , and sorry for double commenting on that video I want to undervolt to get lower temps something like -20 should be enough not looking for anything extreme , I know you're on msi but do you just put pbo on advanced and go to curve optimizer set it to all cores , then put it on negative then write 20 ? Or did you set PBO limits to "Motherboard" ?

I bring to you another video from the past, but never published on KZbin. I play Battlefield 2042 on PC with my overclocked RTX 4080 Super and AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D. I tested 6 1440P resolutions. Unfortunately, BF2024 is one of those title that doesn't work with MSI afterburner so there are statistics on screen, I did even up using the nvida overlay, but I didn't know Shadowplay doesn't record it when using it. I do call out the FPS in my commentary, so there is an audible notification of how each resolution is playing. Again, thank you to everyone who is supporting the channel as I await the RTX50 Series release date! Absolutely insane. I've been wanting to switch out of my 9900k with something Ryzen like this. Especially because the 9900k runs really hot, and is showing it's age when it comes to 240Hz panels.

@rush4360 Yeah, it's got a few modifications to allow it to run at 4K. The stock game would only allow a 1280 X 1024 resolution.

I already have my volume maxed and it still records all game play at a low volume. I have to manually increase it when i edit videos. This is so frustrating

@gamernoob069 Yeah, unfortunately, even with the raised volume, it is still pretty low. I'm not sure why they set it up that way. It doesn't make sense to record gameplay footage with such a low volume output.

Serious question I’m building my first PC that GPU running at 100% or over… isn’t that like running a car at redline? How can my series x pull 60fps at 4k but the 4080 is working to the absolute max??

@CatTrashRacing Well, the GPU is designed to be able to handle 100% usage, so it is not the same as redlining a car. The series X runs this game with lower detail settings / resolution in the 60FPS mode. The 30FPS setting has a higher graphics preset but is still far from the PC version. And also it certainly doesn't have the ray traced global illumination setting, which was just recently released on PC. Normally, this game runs between 90-100FPS on PC before the RGTI setting. I own the Xbox Series X and played this title on it many times, it's essentially like playing the game on medium settings it the 30FPS mode, and 60 FPS lowers the resolution significantly to run at higher FPS.

@CatTrashRacing You're welcome. And yes, I'm definitely a racing game fan. I think some of my favorites right now are Gran Turismo 7 and Forza Motorsport, a close 2nd. And yes, I plan to move to the 50 series as well, likely the 5090, as I originally came from the 4090.
