The Britton story is fascinating and not well enough known. More people should know his story--it will always be a wonderful discovery when they find it. I am impressed with the expressions of faith by friends and family. I have always believed faith is a part of a good and productive life, sadly the world is not going this way--faith is under attack everywhere. Best wishes from my small corner of the USA.
@greensocks45076 жыл бұрын
It's Britten my friend, not Britton. Your repetition of the word "faith' is interesting too. You may be a Trump supporter ?? John Britten would understand that too. Maybe.....

John Britten accomplished what few ever could. To take something from a simple idea and turn it into reality. His story needs to be taught to all children in school. Simply as a tool to motivate young minds into striving to do the impossible . John Britten is my hero.

I met the JB in a parking lot in Christchurch NZ. Must have been '93 ?. He was driving a TVR and I was in my company car Camry. We shared a lift down and walked and talked for a few minutes before he turned left and I went straight through at the lights. He was telling me about some small component that failed at Daytona. He shook my hand before we went our separate ways. True story ... When I met my girlfriend just after I mentioned I'd just bumped into John Britten and she said.. 'Who's John Britten ? '

The time is now for the team to build another totally unique Grunty bike to show John Brittans dreams live on. I;m sure John passed on his knowledge to one member of his team, who needs a elbow in the guts to build a next generation Britton
@jmshaw3576 жыл бұрын
John was the team--without him to inspire the others the project wouldn't have ever happened. The planets line up like this so rarely, it won't happen again in our lifetimes sadly. Another genius will come along one day, but we won't know when or how.

God Bless John, he'll have carbon fiber gates and St. Pete won't get so tired opening them. Hie reach and inspiration go far and wide, I'm on the other side of the world and never met the man , but his passing makes me cry for what the world lost. Guess the Lord wanted a new bike and he wouldn't settle for second best.
