Heading up from The Rocks to Southend is a nice trip. If you stick to the main track. You boys took the hard way. Well done for making it. That beach has taken a number of rigs. One of them still rests at one of the beach entries. Only the old Discovery’s axles are still visible as the rest of the bus is burrowed under the sand.

My favourite comment this week !! Thanks for watching 👌 we honestly had no idea that it was the harder way to go until we chatted to a 4x4 tour guide later in the trip who refuses to take people out there. Didn’t see that old wrecked beast but may have to go back now for a look ;)

Great video mate and awesome bike. I've got a 2012 and it's great. 50-60ks per tank sounds pretty poor. Mine does far more than that on the stock tank. Also why is there no oil on your air filter?
@AllAussieOutdoors4 ай бұрын
Thanks mate. I appreciate the feedback 👌 I’ve head that from a few people with the same bike and not really sure what the go is to be honest. Not a big deal though. And definitely is oil on it mate just hard to see. It’s a blue colour and just hard to see on camera

@@AllAussieOutdoors Nice one. Can be the tune you're running as well. I think I've got a bush tune on mine so gives it a bit more low down. Phew looked like there was no oil on it 😂

Nice job on Part 1 and Part 2. I'd recommend getting the old fashioned paper maps from Rooftop maps for your next trip and then download an offline copy of Google Maps to plot where you are. From Fry's Hut, you could have gone up Brocks Rd and then hit Upper Jamieson hut, then around to Bluff Hut and Lovick's Hut and then down Sixteen Mile Jeep Track to Pike's hut (LOL.. that's not a hut !) Bindaree Hut, done the waterfall and got to Craig's hut for the sunset.. Also in the same area is King Hut and Lake Cobbler hut (well... more like a bus shelter than a hut). Next to Lake Cobbler, you can walk out to the highest waterfall in Vic, Dandongadale Falls which are about 250m in height.

Thanks for watching mate. I run the Hema maps both on my iPad and the paper copy. Unfortunately the restrictions for us was time on this occasion. Planning another trip out over 4 or 5 days and will smash out some of those locations for sure 💪

@@AllAussieOutdoors yeah just hit it with some 60 grit sandpaper to rough it up a bit, if you watch when you panned see how the water beads off that's cos they use a oil to make the pans so they don't stick to the machines, that's why you have to season your pans when you get them

I was told if you change your wheel/tyres post GVM/GCM upgrade you void ur warranty from the manufacturer. The gvm upgrade has been engineered with a specific wheel/tyre combo & by changing it the manufacturer has no data on the new combo you’ve fitted. I’d check with the manufacturer &/or insurance before changing wheels.

Thanks for the message mate. All looked into prior to pulling the trigger. No affect on warranty if you don’t go above the 50mm larger tyres as specified by vic roads. Everything still covered with the combo I run
