The scene with Nolan and the activities brought more depth how the school.is disciplined but takes away choice. BUT it slowed down the 1st day of school AND showed that Nolan does ask the students about their families and such. Something that was implied they don't think of them as people but just students, something Nolan hit home at Neils service.

this movie would have been 10 times better with these scenes. the final movie lacks depth and development of its characters

I just don't understand why these scenes weren't in the movie. They were perfect, and added so much to the story. Beyond that, they only added 15 minutes to the total run time! I just don't get it.

Wish these scenes were on the DVD or a future blu ray release. There was also a scene that had Neil's funeral and Keating tries going to Neil's parents to extend condolences where his father vowed to hold him personally responsible for his death

The scene with Neil and Todd, when Todd says « what, me? » broke my heart okay ?? They must should keep it in the movie ! It’s a crime to delete this ☹️

Okay, but in the scene where they go to the dock, when Neil says "I love this", you can hear Todd say "What?Me?". And It warms my heart on so many levels

What surprised me was Cubby was the one who snatched Sean yet he was the kidnapper that showed Sean the most compassion.
