Its your headcanon. Dont try to pass if off as a fact. If i would be friends with a dude and i know that hes shy and i see him finally coming out of his shell and a more confident person i would also look at him like this. We as men want our boys to grow and we are happy when they do. Also these two were best friends. Why do women or queer people always try to make male friendship into love. You know that there are many versions of love.

Watching these todd and neil scenes straight after watching the movie for the first time makes so much more sense…. Todds shyness in the first scene and neil continually looking at him. And now it makes sense why todd ran to the lake…. 😢😢😢

Remember when Neil is coming back from rehearsals and at the beginning of the Sven the bell rings or something and someone says “what’s for dinner?” And someone excitedly says “spaghetti and meatballs!” Then Neil says “save some for me!” And then walks into his dorm where his father is waiting for him to be the worst person in the world? That’s where he is lol (I watch this movie too often)

One either loves this movie or doesnt. I watched it for the 1st time with my best friend, we were freinds all through high school and entered the Navy on the buddy program. He hated it lol and said it was stupid. I still enjoy it, standing on the roof top giving my barbaric YELP 😂
