@pCon-EN28 күн бұрын
Hi, there is a really handy tool called "Follow Me" where you can extrude 2D drawing elements along a path. This can be used to create a skirting board. Here is how the tool works: help.pcon-planner.com/en/help/index.html?follow_me.htm In this video you will find an example of how to create a skirting board: kzbin.infoq142HYkElkk?si=fGLCcKPRjlIq-n7f&t=1274

Hi, I have a question about the technique you used in the video. I noticed that you managed to break the texture into "tiles." You had a carpet that initially appeared orange, and you changed it to a grayish-green. The carpet had "faded" edges, which seemed to be the result of tiling the same texture side by side. Could you explain how you achieved this effect, allowing the texture to be treated as separate tiles? It would be incredibly helpful for my work. Also, similar to another user's comment, when I insert a cube in pCon Planner, is it possible to assign a different texture or color to each side? This would significantly improve the look of table desks for me, as the texture on the sides often faces the wrong direction. Thank you in advance!
@pCon-EN2 ай бұрын
Hi, for your first question: We used a template provided by the carpet manufacturer Interface via pCon.catalog. You can also achieve this by drawing 2D Shapes, laying them together and then make a group. Or you can just download these templates here: catalogs.pcon-solutions.com/#/?q=interface+template For your second question: Try to use the function "Edit texture" in pCon.planner. If you have a drawn a cube, you can then select the side you want to edit. You can scale or change the direction of the wood grain - that is very handy. However, if you want different textures on a surface, you have to draw individual 3D forms or "Ungroup" the object. Here is more about textures in our help center: help.pcon-planner.com/en/help/textures.htm

How can i adding textures or colors to induvidual faces? I want to paint my objects faces seperately but i couldnt find any method.
@pCon-EN3 ай бұрын
Hi, what do you mean by "individual faces"? You can ungroup objects and then have different "faces" of the geometry. You can then assign separat colors to these faces. If that isn't what you mean, please specify your question. 🙂
@cengizhanerol3 ай бұрын
@@pCon-ENHi, What I actually mean is to paint the parts of any object that I want, as you mentioned. As a simple example, when I add a cube to my project, I want to paint all 6 faces of this cube. As you mentioned, it is possible to explode the object and do this, but the integrity of the object is disrupted. Imagine applying this to a more specific and complex object than a cube. As you can appreciate, this can turn into a complete nightmare. I wanted to know if there is a surface-based painter without disrupting the integrity of the object. I don't know how complicated or difficult it is for you to add this to the software. I just wanted to ask because I think that sometimes such a feature would be useful for many users. Thank you very much for your answer.
@pCon-EN3 ай бұрын
@@cengizhanerol Hi, thanks for the explanation, now it is more clear! Unfortunately, there is currently no such tool in pCon.planner. As a room planning program, pCon.planner is primarily intended for furnishing rooms. This is where its strength lies. With the OFML data of the manufacturers, all color and material variants of products are already implemented in high quality. Although the construction and manipulation of objects is possible, it is not the primary purpose of this software.

Is there any way to make the image on a monitor a self-illuminating image? In a softly lit room the screen only takes on the luminance of the ambient lighting when in reality it would be a light source. How do we make it more realistic?
@pCon-EN11 ай бұрын
Sure! You can draw a rectangle that is the size of the monitor and set it to "filled". Then give the rectangle a self illuminating material (from the material browser). You can then set the opacity of the image so that it lets the light from below through. This should illuminate the monitor a little bit.

@@janloncaric3621 No, the function is still available. You start drawing your wall. Then you press "T" and a little Tape Measure appears next to the mouse. With that you can measure the length between 2 points. The measured value is than used as wall thickness. You then draw with the new wall thickness. This only works when drawing new walls. Existing ones can only be edited via the properties.

After entering, I cannot move around comfortably. Can you add a feature like a godmode? Or can you tell me if there is a more convenient navigation method? Navigation in the Dialux Evo lighting program is very effective. If you apply a navigation method similar to Dialux Evo, I think we can create a much more comfortable drawing process.
