So, where does this case stand today, Nov 2024?

My questions 1. No parent is perfect neither the parent-kid relationship is, its continuous learning process. Of course there is a big no no to physical abuse. However, parents going wrong sometimes should not be the basis for breaking the families. Why cant they arrange for consultation and show kinder approach while handelling such delicate issues? 2. From where do they get so many perfect foster parents? 3. Why don't they ask families to leave Norway rather tthan aking burden on themselves? It is difficult in case of immigrants I know, however, in such case the first point in the comment should apply. 4. How do they think that the parenting would be healthier in such an anxious env? If i imagine myself there I just cant take the fact that everytime i am dealing with my kid I would be wary about every word I utter and every gesture I show. Lastly, at least distantly I feel that such a system must be pumping in the distrust in parents and their kids being wary of each other.

Me and my younger brother was kidnapped by Barnevernet when i was around 8 and was taken by brutal force away from my crying mom, and sendt to an orphanage in another city. From there we were sendt back and forth to different foster home. They found out after a while that they didnt want us, cause they had no children from before and were not used to have children. In the end me and my younger brother was split up and sendt to two different foster homes in two different cities. When i was around 10-11 i wrote a letter that was published in the newspaper, telling how much i wanted to go home and how stranger i felt in a family that was not mine. The barnevernet and orphanage then called me in to a meeting at the orphanage and gave me verbally beating because of the letter. Also in the newspaper an employee in the barnevernet was commenting my letter and downplaying it. The last foster home i was sendt to was members of a christian sect, something that terrified me the first time i was forced to attend a meeting there. All the time i lived there i hated them and didnt want anything to do with them, distancing myself from them in my own room. Short story, when i grew older i became rebellious. From a silent kid to a rebellious boy. And they didnt want me anymore when i was around 16. The thing with Barnevernet is that they ruin families where it is not needed, and ignore cases where they should interfere. I hate them so badly for ruin my life!!!

There are two sides to every story, and watching this video only give you one, so I don't know what is the truth to this story. Barnevernet (cps) mostly does the right thing by taking a child away if they think the kids is being in harms way, they take the kids and then check if it's right, that's how it should work even if the parents don't agree. If a parent is neglecting a child they wouldn't necessarily understand that they are or they don't want to admit to it. Protecting children is the main concern, and I don't think people understand why some kids are being removed from their home. I now people that have been in foster care for most of their life, and in their case the mother was screeming "don't take my children" and running after the car, but in that case the father was alcoholic and hit his wife and children and god knows what else, and the mother was what you can call "slow", she didn't understand what was the right thing for her kids and they took them away because of that and she never got them back and they ended up hating their mother as she was very manipulative and asked them for money and such when they grew up, but never gave them anything, not even a simple birthday greeting. You probably would not get the same story if you asked the mother what happened, even though it was what she told them herself. She kept changing the story.

The allegations made by the child were not described - in fact the video is very cagey about the nature of the accusations. It seems likely that a parent struck the child. This is not new. The BV is doing this all the time. But most people close their eyes to this here on Norway. They think BV is mostly right. Children get abused in fostercare. Children try to run home over and over again. Children take their own lives because of the wrong decision of BV. Its a big money buisness. Sorry to say. Its is. Experts has said the same.
