we dont fast to be blessed, God blesses us even without it, we fast to be closer to God, to hear his will, again not in terms of only food but fasting from fleshly desires, apetite. Amen to everything shared

I don't agree with you in this preaching. We believers needs fasting and prayers to overcome trials and temptation and success in life. Only the nominal and lazy Christians don't fast.
