Thanks! Generating ivy curves isn't really related to scattering so i don't think so Perhpas Baga-Ivy is a product for you blendermarket.com/products/bagaivy

I was looking at buying Geo-Scatter, but wanted to test out the free Biome Reader version, and it's not working. I have the plugin installed. The Biome reader is showing the pictures of the various packs, but when I click on a specific pack, it comes up with "missing file". Glad I didn’t drop $100 for something that doesn't work.

Hi Patterson 👋 we explain why you see the message at 7:37 , it’s working as intended, you simply need to also add assets in your asset browser.

great update!! I'm coming from 3dsmax with forestpack so I'm used to some features that were missing before such as the spline distribution so I'm super happy about this. one thing I really miss from FP though is the edge boundary option, which gives you perfect edges such as for grass perfectly finishing before a kerb. maybe this can be implemented somehow in a future update? cheers!

Hi Alex, thanks for your input! The perfect edge feature is indeed a good idea, unfortunately it's a trick that rely on the render engine, if you use 3dsmax with another renderer, the feature won't work. We will see if it is possible to implement such trick in blender cycles! Cheers D

"how to install geo-scatter in blender 4.2" this would be a great title for a video tutorial. instead, here i am trying to decipher and already somewhat tedious install process under the best of conditions. having said all this, this is a great addon and worth the money i paid and the hassle.

I suspect this is all a scam to collet email data. So many having the same issue and there is no response from the seller. I was seriously going to get Geo-Scatter, but now I think not. This is ridiculous.

I installed Blender 3.6 to use it, because Biome Reader wasn't still updated for newer versions. When I try to scatter a plane using a biome, it loads in but nothing appears on the plane. What am I doing wrong? I followed every step, the plane is selected, biome in on the Systems list but there is no grass anywhere...

That is node for texturing, ex u want to apply a pbr texture in to mesh object with already uv unwrapped, u need to use material node to do that.
