I went to Izumi, I’ve never seen it before the remake, but the food there is really good. There are definitely things that stayed that I noticed, but a lot of things were changed.

Something I've always been curious about is how far feet wise is the top of the bow from the waterline, and the bridge from the waterline?? Looks to be about 70 feet for the bow and somewhere around 110 to 120 for the bridge, but that's just me guessing.

I was on the Allure when this took place! It was really Amazing! They summoned all of the passengers to the deck just before sunrise to film this. It was Allure of The Seas Madden Voyage. It was a Brand new ship and at the time, it was the largest in the World!! Added Fun Fact!! We were Filming the Adam Sandler Movie "Jack and Jill" so the entire Cast and Crew were all on board and we began filming the movie right after this display! What a memorable time! I was one of the actors in the film. 12 Days at sea. We had the entire ship to ourselves along with celebrities and their families, actors, background extras and film crew. Partied all night and filmed most of the day!

I toured the engine room of one of the smaller RCL ships and it was amazing! Bunker oil had to be heated prior to use to thin it out. So clean these engine rooms. Engines are taken out of service while underway and completely rebuilt by a special crew when needed. Amazing operation. My thanks to RCL for the tour.
