The plan is this, the next white flight movement will be to the north of Lake Conroe and to the north of Lake Livingston. The water released from these lakes as it is practiced is ludicrous. Why not build a westward canal to send the water every spring and summer to Arizona or to the Colorado River. The destruction of flooding causes can be mitigated while the water could be put to agricultural uses the world uses and needs tremendously. It may be more cost-effective to build water moving canals than to dredge and clean Bayous of grown mature trees, vehicles and dumped cement and such materials throughout the city and counties. The ideas are multiple. Save the greater Houston area from unnecessary grief. Soon the Trinity river will be always out of its banks from Dallas to Baytown, the Old Lost River will be reborn sooner than later.

In Hawaiian the letter e makes the eh sound. The letter I makes the e sound. Like literally saying the letter e. So poke is pronounced po-keh. If it was pronounced the way you’re saying it, it would be spelled like poki. Just thought you should know.

Hello, my wife and I have been considering moving to the Houston area from Washington state and Volvo. We’re not 100% sure yet Spring Texas is one of those locations we would be interested in. Could you tell me if there is a good part of spring area to focus on and e An area that we should stay away from. Ty. Harry and Tina

I was drooling with all the food places you mentioned. Planning to move soon near Houston area, from Athens, Pa (an extremely small nothing to do town). The weather is not going to be a surprise for me since I was born and raised in PR. I'm not a friend of winter, snow and shoveling. First year was exciting, not happening anymore 🤣

@@discoverspringtexas Speaking about a house I have found one in the area, very close to it are huge tanks from Harris County WCID (close to Jenkins elementary school). Have you heard any issues or complaints from the residents in that area? (flooding, foul smell, loud noises, etc) I'm looking for news, posts but can't find anything. However, noticed the house has been listed for a while.
@discoverspringtexas
@discoverspringtexas Жыл бұрын
@@payasitarosita the mud water tanks / processing areas do smell at times. The majority of the flooding in the area occurs when our creeks, gullies, and bayous go outside their boundaries.

Is this a good place to raise a family? We are considering relocating to TX from MN and have 5 kids, ranging in age from 2-14 and are looking for great schools, safe communities/low crime rates, great community feel as some of our top priorities. Also looking for a competitively rated HS football program for our son.

Spring is a great place to raise a family. You can check out more information on the neighborhoods on our website at discoverspringtexas.com/spring-texas-neighborhoods/#st-map. Spring is comprised of three public school districts (Conroe, Klein, and Spring). You can check out the ratings for the school districts at rptsvr1.tea.texas.gov/perfreport/account/acct_srch.html

Hire an agent who is a Certified Home Marketing Specialist and who has staging accessories. The agent would be able to walk through the house and provide guidance to stage the house and would be able to bring in staging accessories to warm up the house.

@discoverspringtexas

No. There are no parts of Spring that I would consider to be country. I consider Spring to be a suburb of Houston. Where Spring ends Tomball or The Woodland begins. Years ago there were country parts to Spring but now development and population growth has taken over.

I am still trying to figure out how property’s taxes work. Sometimes when I check the tax history in a home, some years are very high and others very low. What is the cause of this fluctuation?
@discoverspringtexas
@discoverspringtexas 2 жыл бұрын
The taxes could be very low due to the property not being 100% completed. The taxes would then similar significantly higher the next year in comparison as construction was completed. The homeowner could protest his tax assessed value bringing the taxes down in comparison to other years.

Do you experience severe weather like tornados, flooding, or similar?
@discoverspringtexas
@discoverspringtexas 2 жыл бұрын
Rarely do we experience tornados. Some areas in Spring do experience flooding. When considering a home's location, I recommend you check the home's flood plain. The majority of flooding occurs near the creeks and bayous.

What about cream? My entire house is BM Cloud Cover. Probably slightly creamier than SW Alabaster. Trim, ceilings, everything. It’s luscious, fresh, not at all stark white. Just wondering how buyers feel about off-white to white.
