As its the end of product line there are some offers. My view is that they are really insightful and are a very good match for a dynamic amp pairing, not hegel or anything too laid back. Do consider the type of music/content you will be playing. When pairing it with a sub, make sure it can illustrate the texture and keep up with the pace at a similar price point. 3k gives you a lot of options. How do you like your bass, mids, treble?

Yeah I have a REL Subwoofer, I find it to be really musical, it's not the top of the line but should be sufficient for the time being. I like my speaker to be fun and musical, not too laid back. I like the highs to be pronounced, airy, open but without hissing or making them fatiguing. The mids I love it if it sounds organic, of course "real" would be the best, voices sound like you are almost in a room with them and they have clear shape to them. Instruments should sound natural. And the bass I don't really care because of the subwoofer, but I detail and fastness is way more important that strength to me, which I have a feeling I get out of my sub currently. Also I like a soundstage that might extend a bit beyond the speakers with some depth, while imaging is there ie the instruments / voices could be clearly pointed at. Don't know if this makes sense, hard to describe 😂

​@@SalvadorZerker It does make sense. A few that pop to mind are at scm 19, Martin logan xt b100, Epos Es14n, neat petite classic, quad revela 1 and proac d2r. They all have something you want, but none that has it all.

Great suggestions thank you very much. But would you say that they are better than the Dalis or rather do something different but all in a similar league? I just find the Dalis to be the best looking out of those speakers :D so I would love if they also sound very well ^^

​@@SalvadorZerker Their RRP is lower than dali. The technology older in the Epicon. The alternatives are different, with ups and downs in various areas. Also consider the Rubikore 2.

I guess these would be a typical contender for a pre & power amp combo. Then again high end speakers are less focused on modern genres.

I've heard the Rubicon 2 which has a lifted low end and top end. Certainly much more of a "fun" sound. However I suspect the dynamics would still suffer under Hegel amps.

I'd say it's sufficient and blends in rather than being forward like an svs.

In all honesty I don't have that broad experience of many other amps to compare it to. However I would say it's more neutral than warm. I really enjoy how clean, quick and rhythmic the sound is. Still enjoying it.

So well that I'm struggling to find any suitable upgrade. Still delivering rich full tones with a wide dispersion. The hybrid tweeter combo in the centre (Vokal) is working magic with vocals in music tracks. Although I would argue that this combo not suitable for low level listening, the 4 ohm speakers require a bit of volume to start shining. Played too loudly (-15db on amp and below) and the high frequencies can start to pierce through.

@@roybrolsbeak don't worry too much about it. That can be dealt with through the denon app or high freq roll of in the Av receiver. For general listening at - 20db there are no problems.

Yes its the normal Attessa, I'm more than pleased with the combo for my daily use.

I've been using my Opticon Mk2 as a surround setup and they are amazing. The wide dispersion of the tweeters really help to envelope you in the scenes. To add to that the ribbon tweeter of the Vokal is so sweet with the vocals. Whilst the Dali sound remains faithful, I didn't feel it capture my attention as some of its rivals.

How do they compare to dynaudio

@@GordonPyzik I really enjoy dynaudio products. I haven't heard the comparable Confidence series. When compared to the other series the Dalis have more clarity, texture and possibly a bit more speed. Dynaudio have greater warmth across the frequency range and sound fuller.
