Some of the comments written about Ricky are extremely harsh and very cruel 😢for heavens sake the kid was only around four, five , or no older than six , when he sang in this video he's a really cute kid singing a really cute song 💗 💗 ❤ ❤

No, most critics are attacking the producers for doing such a foolhardy thing. The other cast members were completely against promoting Ricky in such a manner, as he had no talent. On the other hand, Shirley Temple and other child actors did have talent. But nobody had anything personal against Ricky.

Es sollte mal erwähnt sein: Thomas ist der größte Entertainer / Showmaster den wir jemals hatten. Denke nicht das es besser geben wird , erst recht nicht mit Einschaltquoten jenseits 15 - 20 Millionen. Toll auch wie er mit den Zuschauern umgeht, respekt Thomas!

Eines der Hauptprobleme in diesem Land ist, dass du dich nicht auf das konzentrieren kannst, was du eigentlich machen möchtest, sondern immer nach Lösung suchen musst, um Reglementierungen zu umgehen. Kostet Zeit und Nerven aber es klappt immer… In diesem Fall eine seeeeeehr schöne Lösung ;-)

Brian Forster (Chris Partridge) later said that he and Suzanne Crough (Tracy Partridge) felt cheated in that, during the earlier years of the show, they were seen as too young to be given any substantive amount of lines or that much camera time. So they finally get older, and they still end up getting shoved into the background while this kid has the limelight on him!

The Brady Bunch had Cousin Oliver, The Partridge Family had Ricky Segal. It basically means your TV show's ratings are falling so let's throw in some "cute" kid as a last-ditch gimmick. Even back when this was prime time and I was a kid too, we saw through this BS.

THAT, my friends, is greatness!!! Such a commanding performance showcasing his amazing voice and range. The full voiced high notes in the closing of this song are stellar! Such charisma and talent! There never has been and never will be another performer that had the overall complete package of talent and charisma he had.
