Corpse has a certain "groove" in many of their songs that most "Death Metal" does not have. It makes it enjoyable to listen to all day. It makes Cannibal Corpse the beast & best D.M. band ever!

Imagine these clowns hired a real singer, wrote real songs with real adult lyrics about serious stuff, not the childish nonsense about hammers and chainsaws they growl about, they'd be awesome. What a waste of talent to spew out this garbage. Their CD covers are hilarious they are so immature and stupid, something an angst ridden 12 year old with severe mental health issues would draw in his copy books. Ha, ha.

@@TheOneWayDown I like the music, just hate the non existent vocals and childish crappy lyrics. I feel it is an awful shame that bands like this get so proficient on their instruments (which takes a lot of hard graft to get to that level) to end up spewing nonsense about hammers in the face and meat hooks in wombs. These guys should be doing concept albums with a REAL singer like Ronnie Munroe or a Todd La Torre, for example. Not having some clown going bluuugggg bluuuuggg bluuuuuuggg.

I tried watching a clip of Chris Barnes with Six Feet Under after this one, and nope, Barnes still has nothing on George Fisher as a frontman or a vocalist. Fisher is by far the better growler and screamer, no two ways about it.

It's harder to discern the lyrics in live performances because the vocalist has to do this shit for hours and it's very strenuous, not worth the effort to articulate every word properly. It's easy to understand once you've listened to enough of the vocal style though.
