I tried several exercice for my neck pain, the only one that work is kzbin.info/www/bejne/foTVZaqZjdR0ntU unfortunately it only works every 3 to 6 times, no idea why (the explanation of the video isn't complete, I came here to solve it, no success)

i have sciatica due to disc bulge, my knee is weak and have pain from buttocks to knee now on my first day of therapy my PT (who already saw my mri and xray) recommends me some stretching - leg raise and figure four stretch but it is giving me pain during exercise. is this normal? he was trying to stretch my leg even higher although there is pain on the knee even my ortho agreed, i mean he is okay with the exercises he said that if the pain came after, that is the only time i should stop but if the pain is only during the stretching it's fine

My PT told me about this stretch, but made sure to tell me that as SOON as I felt ANY tension or pain STOP.

With the rotation and the lower neck flexion I hear a bit of a light crunching sound in my head as I move. Do you know what causes this and is this ok? From X-ray I have a little C5/6 degeneration (52years)

The crunching sound often comes from tendons moving over the bony surfaces. As long as this doesn't cause any pain or other symptoms for you directly or afterwards, it is no problem.

You could probably get by by wrapping a belt around your thigh near the knee and pulling gently that way. But as always be careful and only pull until you feel a stretch and not pain.
