Do your other charge controllers have USB ports? How tiny are the connection screws? On another low-end controller, I've had trouble getting them tightened down. Thanks.

Hello, I am able to move windows into their respective panes, but as soon as I click on something else, the other panes get minimized and only the one most recently clicked on stays up on the screen. In other words, the panes don't persist to where I can have multiple up at once. Kind of defeats the purpose of the app. I hope this makes sense. I am sure I am doing something wrong based on the excellent feedback of the app. Thanks!

My LiPo battery has a USB wire. If I connect my solar panels to the given port and my LiPo to the USB port, will it work (without the use of a battery in the bottom port as you did with the 24V battery)? My LiPo battery is powering my RC car and I want to use solar to recharge my battery. Just to be more clear, my LiPo has power wires (which go to the car) and USB wires (which connect to a USB cable)

Hey man, quick question for you. You seem like your knowledgeable. So I accidentally had my wanderer on the wrong battery setting I had it on sealed when it should have been on flooded. I just realized my mistake. Could that possibly be why my batteries aren't charging properly and my battery life has been garbage? I appreciate any insight you might have.
@yourDIYguy Жыл бұрын
That could be the reason, if the float or charge voltage was off then it would cause problems. I would ensure it is on the correct settings and cycle it a few times and then take another look at it.

What is the supply voltage for this voltmeter?
@yourDIYguy Жыл бұрын
It goes from 0-100V
@TechAddictAttic Жыл бұрын
It will read 0-100 but many that are made identical in appearance can only be supplied 3-30V. They actually have two voltage inputs sharing one common ground. One input is for supply voltage (3-30) and the other is device-under-test voltage which will read up to 100V. You might get lucky and supply it 100V and it still work, but I wouldn't count on it.

If by chance you receive a EO1 Code on a 12 volt system, then more than likely you installed the battery connections after the solar was connected. The E01 error appearing is when the controller has inadvertently been calibrated for 24V. This means that the controller will automatically calibrate for the proper system voltage. However, with this type of controller it is essential for the battery bank to always be connected to the controller first. This allows the controller to calibrate for the proper system voltage. If the solar panels are connected first, the controller can see voltage upwards of 19V-21V. When connected first with this range of voltage, the controller will calibrate for a 24V system. Then, when the 12V battery is connected, it sets off the E01 code thinking that it is an over-discharged 24V battery bank. To recalobrate follow the following: 1. Make a note of the 4 wires before disconnecting. You can use masking tape to write solar +, solar -, battery +, battery - on the 4 wires so there is no confusion when reconnecting. 2. Disconnect the solar leads from the front of the controller, starting with the negative. 3. Disconnect the battery leads from the front of the controller, starting with the negative. 4. Wait 5 minutes 5. Reconnect the battery leads to the front of the controller, starting with the positive. 6. The controller display will light up. Wait 1 minute to allow the controller to calibrate. 7. Reconnect the solar leads, starting with the positive.

Solar Tip: You can steplessly dim down a bulge and all other hungry electricity consumers with a 5000W dimmer (7, EUR). I run 5 dimmers in parallel on an 850W inverter. Kettle 2.2KW at 150W runs 12 hours a day, so the water is always hot. The room is also nicely heated. 2.5KW washing machine runs in parallel with dimmed to 200...400W. Iron, dishwasher, oven, electric heater, coffee machine, all internal heating are throttled with me. Videos about it on my channel kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3SVoJ-YeKebnpI The inverter stays cool, quiet and the MOSFETs remain intact because extreme current peaks no longer arrive at the inverter. Now every Mini PV Inverter is enough to sell large devices...

Thanks for the feedback. The purpose of this is that the usb ports on some tv's do not output enough power. This results in poor performance and occasional restarts. I was merely showing a potential solution to those with that issue that would not require a power cord running from an outlet or purchasing a new tv.

Hi friend , I have a solar system around 1920 watts day , kit solar 100 watts , I need to connect the system to AC loads , I need the inversor plus this device right ? This device only works with dc loads
@yourDIYguy3 жыл бұрын
Hi friend, you are correct. To run an AC load you will need an inverter to go from DC to AC. This device will charge a battery and allow for some direct DC usage.
