I completely agree with you about EP 6/7 - both him and I got frustrated because the parents guide didn't include the step by step breakdown of the answers ✅ I also agree with you about EP as a whole, it has significantly impacted my children in many positive ways despite the struggle with one math course😂😂

I just wondered why you didn't use EP online math lessons for 6)7 math? As I understand, they teach a lesson and you just do the workbook 😮

We've been using Reading Eggs, Mathseeds, MWC, and Logic of English A and B for my kindergartener and 1st grade. Very similar! We try to fit in science and geography, but I have 3 other kids too (5th, 6th, and 7th grade), so it's hard!

New sub here. We’re in the same boat. Can do relate. We wanted those organizing bins to work for each kid but turned out they have to many resources that they don’t all fit in the bins. With Easy Peasy workbooks you need the Parent Guide for the complete offline curriculum. The Parent Guide shows how to teach each lesson, if you don't have that, you're not using a complete curriculum.

I really want to homeschool my children starting the next school year. I will have three out of my four children ready for school next year. I'm nervous bc my current 7th n 8th graders both have ADHD and they struggle with focusing and staying on task. I don't want fear or self doubt to stop me from at least trying. I have been homeschooling for 6 years now and what is funny is that I've come right back to the basics of your original choices in your prior video. Genesis Curriculum, TGATB Language arts, and I'm even considering EP math again (along with the online. Im glad you found that solution i w a s going to mention it to you)....because of your prior video hahahaha I have been around the block with just about everything. Around the world is fun! But when it comes down to everything consistency is key and also manageability. I think people are overcomplecating homeschool. There are far to many choices. I find that my children love, in the end, what I love too. Trust your heart and be careful not to be pulled too many directions. I have 7 children so for me the family style works best. Many blessings on your journey. "Keep it simple" is truly my advise and make daily life a part of your homeschool. My thought is "what does Jesus want my children to know" and of course, "what will put them ahead in this world we live in"? I'm glad I happened across your channel. Your prior video was a breath of fresh air. I created some of my own notebooks for my children (it looks like you found some great ones) I definitely think notebooking is also where it is at, when a child has to truly seek and find information and has an interest in it, than it really sticks. I even created a notebook for genesis curriculum where they just draw along what comes to mind (pertaining to the day's reading) as we go over the days reading. Well this is a long response. I hope not to be overbearing or anything, I just watch so many people get sucked into all these different things ( just as I was) I have spent thousands of dollars on countless things over the years just to come right back to the basics.
