Yamato was supposed to be the greatest battleship of all time, and it gets beaten by a smaller one with smaller guns because it had better technology. Hilarious.

❤❤🎉❤🎉🎉🎉❤ Truly truly i say to you all Jesus is the only one who can save you from eternal death. If you just put all your trust in Him, you will find eternal life. But, you may be ashamed by the World as He was. But don't worry, because the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, and it's up to you to choose this world or That / Heaven or Hell. I say these things for it is written: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, *teaching them* to observe all that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of seasonal". While yes, collective societies like Japan’s society do lead to this, many forget the issues that individualist societies cause. One of the most famous examples of one of these issues is the 2nd amendment in the US constitution which allows for gun ownership. Whether this is good or bad it has caused many deaths just like how Japan’s collective society has caused incidents like this train crash. I’m not saying one is better than the other but please don’t think that one is worse than the other.

5:44 - At first I thought it was a light bulb, then it turned into a hot air balloon. I think that no matter what speed light is, as long as that speed has been constant, our brains would have evolved to interpret everything we see as normal.

Everyone using this tragic accident as a way to say how amazing Japan is at caring about being on time is weird. People died because of toxity from this horrible country and ya'll are still saying they're so amazing and how in your country they don't care about being late. Ya'll watch way to much anime and it shows.

this is so heartbreaking, especially as I have stood on an Osaka platform waiting for a late train, and NO ONE CARED. Not a single person that day was visibly upset, we all just patiently waited for 3 extra minutes. I hate to think that the drivers are under that kind of pressure, because it seems like its coming from their bosses and not the general public. Its not okay.

Flash news : Light IS slow!! Light takes 100.000 years just to travel the milky way, and the milky way is just a small coin compared to the rest of the observable universe (wich is way smaller than the whole universe itself). The universe itself expand faster than the speed of light. Only small ants like us humans could perceive light speed as "fast".
@Mis7erSeven
@Mis7erSeven 9 күн бұрын
You don't have to think that big to realize how slow the light can be. I'm watching this video on a PC that runs on a speed of more than 4 GHz. That means, there are less than 0,25 nanoseconds between two ticks. In that short time period, light can only move less than 8 cm. But my PC is a lot bigger than that. That means, it's impossible to send a signal from one side of the PC to the other before the next signal is already on it's way. This proves a challenge for the designers. PCs (and any other computer system like a smartphone) have to be built in a way that systems that usually need to be in-sync are placed next to eachother, to minimize internal latency that could potentially cause software to crash. The entire design process is turned into a difficult puzzle game, just because the speed of light isn't fast enough.

@@shreksoffspring They might if they think it's the best case scenario for them PR wise and they see no other option. They won't do it out of genuine honesty much less remorse (which is the impression I got in this case), and they certainly won't advertise their mistakes on their own website. Not dick riding Japan at all, I'm still highly critical of the work culture that led to the disaster in the first place and would not want to live there.

@@mardy3732 If you think that big companies in Japan actually cared about this crash and their apology was genuine and remorseful then you're completely wrong. They only care about the image, yes they took responsibility, but they couldn't care less. They're just good at acting like they care, which I'll give them that, in the West we're to blunt to act well. Especially since the crash wasn't caused by the actual train but by a person who sped up. And Japan doesn't advertise their mistakes because they enjoy sweeping it under the rug and hope it goes unnoticed. I've lived there, that's exactly what they do.
