My Buc-ee’s recs as someone who’s been there near 100 times now - Get a car wash + vacuum if you’re at a location that offers that service - Go for sliced brisket instead of chopped - Always buy pastries and baked goods from the counter instead of pre packaged - The beaver tails are better than the cinnamon rolls - Don’t get the coffee from the station. It never tastes right - Beaver chips > beaver nugs - If you love niche candies (black licorice, Jordan almonds, orange slices, etc.) they’ll prob have them in stock in the candy section - T shirts and hats are the highest quality merch- bathing suits, pool toys, etc. aren’t worth the price - If you feel the need to get pre packaged food (why?) go for the chicken salad croissant, the Italian hoagie, the edible cookie dough and the key lime pie in a cup - Walnuts < Almonds < Pecans - Try the Bucees ice cream sandwiches, especially the one with strawberry ice cream - AVOID THE TEMPLE BUCEES IF POSSIBLE- the vibes there are so weird, the bathroom line is always inexplicably long, and the men are always such creeps there for some reason - Visit the Denton Bucees if possible- it’s objectively the best one in the state
