That's how we feel, too. Temu has been a really good discovery for us. I do have to agree with you on the price adjustments, too. I think it has been the only place that I have shopped that the total at the end is sometimes lower than I expected for a big order, lol

Thanks for the encouragement to make a video about the cards! We did start checking cards this week, but I don't think we did any from this batch, yet. We did find around $40 total on two cards from an older locker, though!

Hello to you in Almont! We have started travelling to various different markets for the remainder of the year. The next one that we are hoping to sell at is in Flat Rock on Oct. 6 (we'll have to wait in line to secure a spot, though). The next flea market video (coming asap) is at Greenmeade in Livonia (already passed, though). The market that we were at with our permanent booth for the recent years is called Greenlawn Grove, in Romulus. We may go back there again also, but we have no plans set, just yet

Those beds seem so nice, I have been hoping to find one that we can try out. It seems like the drawers underneath would be so useful. I was so glad that split box spring was labeled ... it makes me wonder how many times we found one and thought it was two smaller box springs

The pants, lol! This locker really turned out to be very good. We've sold a lot of things from it already. Sometimes, this type with popular, clean items makes the job feel a little bit easy, lol. We started working on some cards this week. We haven't done many from this batch yet, but we did find around $40 total on two cards from another locker an Amazon card and a Game Stop card.

I saw you tossing pens and pencils in the garbage box. Check with local schools and churches to see if they have students/kids that can not afford to buy the items. Even markers/crayons/and notebooks that are not filled. If you have any of the book boxes around, you could add a box of them in there.

That is a great idea... it would be so nice to connect with a school or other institution that could use them. We do a ton of work trying to get them to people. I did fish the ones out of the garbage box, too, lol. I spotted a nice Ticonderoga pencil go in while we were filming, lol. I do always check our garbage when we are done. You probably won't be surprised to hear that valuable things end up in there, sometimes.

That is a good point. We have definitely sold a ton of them that way, too. I might rethink them a bit, though ...we've started getting a little picky with them. That might be where your idea about putting a running tally would help a lot. With an item like old phones, etc... that we just might (or it is possible) to get more from.

Hi, we are so glad you found us! You are so right about the actions figures. We do double check items like that before we set them out at the flea market, just in case. It is so funny that you mentioned the tally! We were just talking about it again with this video. Eventhough we have seen it other places over the years, I think we have hesitated partly because Jebus was already doing it. It sounds silly now that I've said it out loud😅. So thank you for bringing that up!

you just never know what i use for cleaning supplies, it is always based on what i get out of storage units or pallet buys. cannot remember the last time i brought garbage bags between just reusing/recycling store bags, cat food bags, bags found in storage units, etc. i cringe when i watch youtubers just rip the garbage bags open at the lockers to show what is inside. i am not a youtuber so i don't make the millions like they do so i take everything home first and then i take the time to untie the garbage bags so i can reuse them. 😊😊

I hear you there! We had a stretch this year when we couldn't get as many lockers and the ones that we did get were light on those kind of supplies... we had to go buy a few of those things - it was terrible, lol! I also know what you are saying about the big youtubers (don't get me wrong, I hope to be one someday, lol), but it is different for them. I will say though, early in the year we got so many garbage bags and supplies that I felt like a rich person, I thought I could use them like I have an endless supply🤣

It really was fantastic weather! We definitely got a little lucky. I can understand you being in NE Ohio and not seeing it before. We've been through the area a number of times and had no idea that it was back there. We were just following the navigator to a restaurant ...we almost gave up on it, too. It still feels hard to describe the whole experience, lol
