When i worked at Starbucks i was also in collage, and i had to quit after 8 Months, my manager put me in closing shifts and then open shifts after, im from México , the Starbucks location i worked at opens at 6 am but i had to be there at 5 am for setting, my closing shifts were from 4 pm to 11 pm plus an hour for cleaning and preping for the morning shift, i ended and ended up sleeping at 1 or sometimes 2 am because my feet hurted from standing up all day then after my morning shift i had classes it was really rough and i talked to my manager about it but she didnt care , she told me i was not the only one stidying and she had to “rotate” equally but she had her favorites and she was really easy on them, she wasnt being fair so i had a nervous breakdown and got sick so i had to quit, but i really enjoyed the moments where i was not in shift with my manager, those days were so freeing i my skills were better. The only thing i regret was not choosing the mall starbucks, the store i was has a bathroom and honeslty cleaning the toilets was my nightmare.

Thank you Melanie, I used to work at Starbucks as a barista and I still love the iced and hot drinks there. I had customers that wanted to tip me and I told them that we don't do any tips I'm sorry.
