That’s why I only buy cutters in person now, my last two purchases of American made cutters had bad blade alignment, (channellock and Klein) had to return and will go in person, but manufacturers make it difficult to inspect by packaging them in clam shell packs, fail in my opinion. I know it’s to make shoplifting harder. As a side note, bought an Irwin and crescent brand and both are overseas built but are perfectly aligned, sharp and tight…….for less.. granted I do not expect them to last like good ole Klein or chanellock’s but we will see. At least I can buy them without wondering if I’m going to exchange them. Oh yes I have bought multiples other brands and all were good and all made overseas….THAT is the bummer for me. Chanellock and Klein l. I know folks including myself you need to hire and help straighten your workers up, who ever is in charge does NOT inspire the workers to perform with pride in their work and it shows with continuous QC issues, making a lot of us look at companies like knipex. Of which my collection of knipex increases as I replace the lesser QC products I love made here, saddens me. I want to support American companies and will pay more but have receive a full functioning tool 97+% not a 50/50 chance. To get the 97+% today it seems you have to pay snap on prices and as a retired fella, that is a no go, with exceptions as a few items there is no replacement for a snap on tool.

Whats stopping you from starting on LOW then SECOND and then D? Does the car truly feel different when you put it on the ratchet shifter side?
@FIXANDREPAIRАй бұрын
The shifter came with a neutral safety switch that prevents it from being started in gear. You can control the shift points, but it also depends on other drive train improvements too. If you are considering doing swap try finding one that is used, because newer shifters from China are poorly made now.

i recently got one of these along with a weed waker, & a dirt rotatillar. my question was, they all look like they'd work with the same handle. would it be possible to do so & if so, then how ? bcuz the only 1 that has a handle end up to the grey threaded part were it might come apart to possibly attach it to the other pieces but im either missing something or there not ment to interchange ???
@FIXANDREPAIR2 ай бұрын
I only own the tree saw, so I'm not familiar with the others, however the gray knob is threaded and turns on to tighten and off to losen the extension pieces, which then just slide out from one another. So if you don't have a gray type knob on the other attachments, I would guess the handles are permanently attached. Thanks for watching 👀.

I'm really sorry to say that Irwin is no longer a viable option. Malco unfortunately closed their factory in DeWitt, and now Snap-On is the only remaining supplier. The downside is that the price is three times as the Malco's. And, sadly, their new models don't have the reinforcement solid rivet. Malco Eaglegrip was the absolute best! It would have been so wonderful if they had made the 12LC, 6LC, 10LW, 7LW, 4LW, and 20R models, as well as the long-nosed ones!

Can you give me some info on the front tire setup
@FIXANDREPAIR3 ай бұрын
Sure, they are Walmart trencher tires on stock 12" rear lawn mower rims. Rims are flipped with aluminum spacers and few washers for depth clearance. Now wider tires make it feel more stable but it is a bit harder to turn. Best advice is go with narrower Bigfoot tires. Best of both worlds in steering and durability. Nice job. I'm interested in your seat springs. Am I correct in assuming that you added a second level of 8 springs to the stock two? I have a very bumpy lawn (Chipped a tooth going over it). Does the extra springs help? Thank you.
@FIXANDREPAIR5 ай бұрын
Hi, I added a second level of springs for a total of 6. I also added the large U springs with a set of coil springs in the open U part. I did this to raise the seat as well. I used the parts available at that time. My best suggestion is to go to your local junk yard and wait for a JD or cub cadet comes in and buy the entire seat and pan assembly. People junk tractors with nice seat assemblies all the time. The newer seats are cushioned better and the flip seat mechanisms with springs work nicely, compared to the spring assembly on original mtd ranch kings. Free mowers abound on Facebook Market Place too or local lawn care business that takes in junk mowers on trade. Thanks for watching and please subscribe. Hopefully this helps.

@FIXANDREPAIR9 ай бұрын
Current stock hydraulics on pk handle around 350lbs or so. But engine lift can handle 1,200. Once hydraulics updated will hopefully get to 500lbs range. Which is a nice number. Wouldn't want to lift much more because then need to add weights to front.
