I was working at the bridge at that time. They had to wait for low tide in order for the ship to pass underneath.

Those are spiders abseiling lines, they only make and use parachutes in less wind.

@th33ninja, the Verazzano Narrows bridge in between Brooklyn and Staten Island, yes I agree with you. I don't think QM2 could fit under any of the East River bridges such as the Brooklyn, Manhattan or Willamsburg, and she only had 25-30' to spare under the Golden Gate.

I've never seen wild turkeys so close to residences before. I've seen them during camping trips to Catoctin and Shenandoah, but never up close to houses before. So neat! =)

@bradleyrhys nope, millipedes only have 60-400 legs depending on the species altho mili does mean one thousand, but centi does not mean 100... learn your metrics
