I was working at the bridge at that time. They had to wait for low tide in order for the ship to pass underneath.

@th33ninja, the Verazzano Narrows bridge in between Brooklyn and Staten Island, yes I agree with you. I don't think QM2 could fit under any of the East River bridges such as the Brooklyn, Manhattan or Willamsburg, and she only had 25-30' to spare under the Golden Gate.

I've never seen wild turkeys so close to residences before. I've seen them during camping trips to Catoctin and Shenandoah, but never up close to houses before. So neat! =)
