So pleased with the result! Spencer hoped he could win the fight by spending a lot of his time with his head on Quarry’s shoulder and his arms around him, which he started doing in round 1 and continued to the end. It was embarrassing and time wasting.

The last score seemed the most reasonable. Greaves really only had maybe 2 rounds where he seemed to be able to execute his gameplan. The rest of the time he was clearly fighting the fight that Fullmer wanted.

Despite winning the majority of the rounds, Michael Moorer clearly fought down to the level of his opponent. He basically treated this fight like a typical sparring session. And Vaughn Bean showed no real desire to WIN the heavyweight championship. He was content to sleepwalk for 12 rounds rather than fight an uninterested Moorer.

Greg Haugen's skills are very underrated. That bounce combined with his foot feints are a thing of beauty.

Se nececita ser muy ingenuo para pensar que un peleador puede ganar despues de haber recivido tremenda golpiza en la primera pelea, por mas que estes de local y la gente te apoye.......

This shows that fighters like Harold Johnson weren't very far-fetched from fighters of today because the same techniques that I've seen in this fight are the same thing boxers of today use. I know that back then they worked more on inside fight, but there are a lot of good defensive moves being showed here.

The commentators I believe said that Benitez was 19 years old in this fight. That is incorrect he was 16 and less than a year and a half after this fight in March 1976 he became the WBC Jr. Welterweight champion at the age of 17, also the youngest boxer in history to hold a world title boxing belt.

*This montage has been spliced diced and edited to show best parts and crowd noise has been added-in. Editing can make any fight look slugfest. These guys are wide open and exposed. Casuals always wonder why they never see these types of amateurish face-to-face brawlers today? Well because they'd be obliterated that's why! Little Rocky looks awful and would be KO'd within seconds against today's "Topnotch" Super Heavyweights who average 250 lbs with 80" reach. When was the last time you saw an extra little 5' 9" 184 lb "Heavyweight" Champion with tiny 67" flyweight reach? These guys were toe-to-toe street fighters not boxers. I had no idea how bad boxing skills were back in the day. "Topnotch" Super Heavyweights similar to 285 lb Bakole, 285 lb Zhang, 285 lb Teremoana, 270 lb Ruiz, 250 lb Kabayel, 250 lb Itamua, 250 lb Jalolov, 250 lb Parker, 250 lb Dubois, 225 lb Usyk, 305 lb Miller, Fury, Foreman, Ibeabuchi, Vitali, etc etc. would annihilate these two within seconds.*

There are no Super top notch.Heavyweights today. The division is completely void of any Quality authentic Heavyweights. That's exactly why 33-year-old cruiserweight Oleksandr Usyk moved up to the HW ranks and decimated it
