I own a car exactly like this and was thrilled to see this one because if it's originally and Ermine White with red interior, it's a very rare car. I've owned mine, which is exactly like this one except it has a black top for 7 years. Production records are non-existent but if one goes by how many were white, how many had red interiors, & how many had the L-72 engine, it appears as though no more than 50 were made in this combination. This is only the 3rd one besides mine I've ever seen. It's in very nice condition & if that milage is correct, I'd imagine it's mostly original. I had to completely restore mine but it looks & sounds this good, too. Nice car-thanks for sharing!

I would still be driving a pickup with manual transmission if it was available in a full size pickup.

I had a 1972 F-250, bought it new in Stillwater Minnesota. It ran a 360-V8, Warner T-18 four speed with a creep gear and 4:11 gears in the rear. It had no spare tire or rear bumper, they were in short supply back then. It came with split rims and bias tires and rear 1500-pound overload springs, rode like a rock.

Noticed the steering column originally had a column shift, so was it original auto, or 3 on the tree. Also, doesnt looke like a highboy, so was it converted to 4wd, or has the body been swapped?

I remember Building a Model of This and it had Decals saying Hodges Dodges that was in 60s when I was a kid and it had a 426 Hemi and I remember painting the engine FLAT BLACK I liked the Flat paint because it flowed good and dried smooth without brush marks

Happened to stumble across this video. Very cool. My father in law was a driver for Ram Chargers. Drove this model and several others. Even held a speed record for a time. His name was Jim Thornton.

One of the greatest cars/ year Ford ever put out - reminds me of being in 6th grade when my father bought his black on grey brand new - we used to hit the turnpike to go to the hartford whaler games- car was magical - "from a better vanished time."
